You are not alone.

If you thought it was just Nadia going through this awful phase of looping think again, the show takes on an entirety different direction as it introduces Alan, an altogether different type of character, experiencing the same situation, but handling things differently, in a calmer, more orderly fashion.

It feels like a jigsaw that has pieces slowly being added to it, but a puzzle at the end, I fear may not give us the full picture. The crossovers are terrific, and the acting, music etc are just superb.

A real winner. 8/10

A whole new dynamic to the series

After the dramatic finale of the previous episode, we're introduced properly to Nadia's fellow lift traveller, Alan Zaveri.

Following his meeting with Nadia, Alan is really thrown off kilter, resulting in a revelation that hits his fragile psyche hard.

This is a very entertaining, mysterious and thought provoking episode.

The viewer will be unexpectedly delighted at the cameo by the legendary Burt Young.

That's what a murderer would say!

We meet Alan who is nervous, self-conscious and timid, thus into mindless self-help affirmations. He is having girlfriend trouble, crosses paths with Nadia and they seem to be kindred spirits.

Are all resurrections equal?

Alan's Routine
Prismark1014 June 2019
At the end of episode 3, Nadia was hurtling down a lift with Alan Zaveri. A man who also keeps dying and returning back to life.

This episode concentrates more on Alan. He looks like a smart neat guy who is about to go on a holiday with his girlfriend, propose to her but she breaks up with him instead.

Alan might have OCD issues, he likes routine and he has been repeating the same scenario again and again.

Only when Alan encounters Nadia again who has been looking for him does he deviate slightly from his routine. He now finds out that his girlfriend has been cheating on him.

I do like how the puzzle has deepened with the addition of Alan who is very different and more introverted than Nadia. I also liked how a character who appeared in Nadia's party crossed paths with Alan in a bittersweet way.

Alan's life has changed since he met Nadiya and he knows he needs to work with her.

Alan's Routine

Warning: Spoilers
This felt like a completely different show for awhile, but I think these kinds of developments are necessary from time to time. I still think the show would be wise to solely focus on Nadia and not spend so much time on other characters. When shows deviate too far from the original premise they tend to lose viewers.

Good, but, um...

I liked this episode, but the degree to which it ripped off Sam Esmail was beyond distracting. I could barely get through a scene without wondering whether or not there will be lawsuits.
