As the dust settles from recent events the family find themselves back together at the house. Deborah and Maurice slip back into their paternal roles, for the good of the children. Donald realises that his sister may also be mentally ill.
The family reunites in their concern for Amy's mental health with Maurice admitting it may be hereditary. Hylda also brings her own experiences in play to reassure Amy and Donald finally confesses his feelings for Matilda. With Deborah and Maurice no longer enemies the Flowers gather to hear Amy's orchestra whilst Shun wanders off into his magical part of the nearby forest.—don @ minifie-1
