This episode was good and for a long time there wasn't an show that made me expect a certain outcome and then make a 180. This show really made me think it's the end for humankind either by the asteroid or by mankind in some way as a response to the asteroid but no... surprise the asteroid isn't quite a simple asteroid or one at all. It's a decent show that deserves and appropriate end, i deserve to see what's next.

I enjoyed this closure. We don't need a third season. Thank you Salvation team for saving the world, for making us have hope.

NUGGET FROM SALVATION: Know thine enemy, and sometimes in life what we have marked as our foe (the asteroid) was never an adversary the whole time.

UPDATE: If it's been renewed for a third season, I wonder how they'd keep up with another 546 minutes of I-don't-know-what-they-have-up-their-sleeves. Yes, the ark is gone with Tanz's uncle and that con artist and thieving knave of a C.O.P.E leader. Let it slide please. Ms Kruger, let it go. I wouldn't want your third season to be like Quantico's season number 3. I love you Liz. Hope to work with you. Ciao.

Ended as it should

I just want to say that while it leaves questions (most notably, "what happened next?!"), the show's premise is "asteroid on path to hit Earth and wipe out humanity". (If you're reading a review for the final episode, this ain't a "spoiler".)

The show/story carried right through to the conclusion of that premise. What happens after is the premise for a different story, whether you like it or not.

While I, too, would like to know what happens, I realize: Show's over. Find another story.

Best epsode, unlike the asteroid, never saw this coming!

A movie or a series is a journey, many of these journeys have good and bad points. In the end, we only really judge on the ending, and this one has it!

1. This was the best episode on Salvation like Ever! 2. That Ending was definitely mind blowing because I definitely did not see that coming! Wow Dylan was alive all this time - Wow. That time jump was just perfectly handled. The Big question is "WTF is Samson?". Loved it as a season final! This can't be the series finale, so let's wish for the best! Salvation season 3!!!

I admit it. The series were full of cliches, but by all kind of surprises and changes of situations they managed to keep me interested. However, lately the show was kinda disappointing. After Mackenzie's death, the rest of the episodes lacked substance and they seem forced and diluted. And sometimes foolish beyond acceptable. I just wanted to finish properly the series, more by the duty than interest, without any expectations left. Not realizing it, I bitten the bait. When I saw Darius waking up after 44 days, I laughed to myself "man, what a slippery and foolish end". And that silly hummingbird. "It could never be worse than that", I thought. Without knowing, I was in fact ready. Then, it happened: O. M. G !!! Me more open-mouthed than Harris. Although it could be a nice and tricky end, Netflix, don't u dare to cancel this show!

I was actually beginning to get bored with the series, but this ending! No one saw it coming!!!! Also what about Tanz's space ship? Need to know what happens to it.

I just finished season 2 latest episode. And it's great. However, like any amazing TV series I watched, the ending just let me with a ton of other questions. Like ... Where is the Arc now? What happened with it's crew? What the H is that space object if it's not an asteroid? What will humanity do now? and many many more. Anyways, in the end, this was a terrific TV series, something which kept me glued to the 90" TV in the living room! Yes, that's the kind of TV series we need! However, some scenes in the movie were cliches and some were impossible in science. But if you just skip these mistakes you will get a great movie :)

So much suspense and incredible events this TV show had. Too bad it ended. I was hooked. I loved this TV show, I am super happy I get the chance to see it.

Great second season

Great second season. Had it all: suspense, fun, drama and action.

The finale blew my mind. Shame there is no Season 3. Would have been brilliant.

Some points: Jillian's entire story and character is not needed at all. Slows things down.

Further, some scenes are slowing down the momentum. Not sure if this is editing or writing, but there some unnecessary breakers.

Generally very entertaining. Get yourself a large pizza and go for some binge watching!

BRING BACK SALVATION!! This was so much better than the reviews made out, forget the plot holes and absolute madness at times but it was so worthy of a 3rd series... especially after that ending! TANZ FOREVER!
