Naomie Harris, Joel Fry, Jameela Jamil and Olivia Lee are set to star in upcoming romantic comedy “Lola and Freddie,” billed as a British reimagining of 2012’s “Celeste and Jesse Forever.”
The feature comes from writer/director Dean Craig, whose recent film credits include Netflix hit “Love, Wedding, Repeat,” plus “The Honeymoon” and “The Estate.”
Bankside Films is handling worldwide sales and will be launching the film — due to shoot on location in London — at the European Film Market in Berlin.
“Lola and Freddie” follows a couple who were once inseparable and totally in love but now, in their 40s and having grown in different directions, are getting a divorce. Lola is thriving in her career while Freddie continues to chase his dream of becoming a screenwriter. When Freddie is hired by a big studio and rekindles a relationship with an old flame, he matures and aligns more with what Lola desired in their marriage.

Rammstein are revisiting their 1997 sophomore album Sehnsucht with an expanded reissue due out June 9th.
The German icons are giving the album — the first Rammstein disc released in the US — a fresh coat of paint in the form of a new “HD” remaster and reworked artwork based on the original stateside release. The tracklist also includes an updated 2023 remix of “Spiel mit mir.”
The band is rolling out the Sehnsucht expanded edition in a wealth of “elaborately packaged” formats: CD, cassette, and double-lp vinyl (including black and white variants). The double-lp editions mark the first US vinyl release of the album following the initial European pressing in 2017 (the album was only released on CD and cassette in 1997).
Sehnsucht, which translates to “longing,” is the album that launched Rammstein to worldwide fame with its legendary hit “Du hast,” which saw frontman Till Lindemann and company melding groove metal, techno, and industrial rock into an infectious romp.

HBO’s latest hit series The Last of Us now officially has a soundtrack for its first season, a massive, 66-song compilation of all the music scoring the post-apocalyptic tale. Check it out below.
After working on the original The Last of Us video game, composer Gustavo Santaolalla returns for the HBO series, joined by fellow artist David Fleming. In an upcoming interview with Consequence, Santaolalla describes his approach to the soundtrack, saying, “The process of adapting, it was more in a way like craftwork than actually a new creation, because the themes were there, those things are there, like the characters, it wasn’t about creating a new job, it wasn’t about finding what is interesting. For example, in seeing how Pascal and Bella, they’re different than the actors that played the voices, but at the same time, they keep the soul of the characters intact.”

Kruger plays Alice, the favorite teacher of Gere’s deceased son whilst Clement plays the boy’s mother, Rachel.
Daniel Bekerman produces under the Scythia Films banner along with Current Flow Entertainment’s Alexander Vinnitski and Arbitrage Pictures’ Neil Mathieson.

Yes, he’s the writer and director of all four Mad Max movies, but he won his only Oscar for producing, writing, and directing the animated musical comedy Happy Feet. But one constant in Miller’s films has been the exquisitely rendered imagery, whether it’s a post-apocalyptic world or the epic fantasy of his new film, Three Thousand Years of Longing. The new movie stars Tilda Swinton as a woman who encounters a Djinn (genie) played by Idris Elba, and the unexpected consequences of her wishes. To really appreciate the film, Miller says, you really ought to see it in a theater,...
