Touching and beautifully executed

Didn't know what to expect but was touched by the performances of the kids in this Japanese film. Made me hungry throughout.

Didn't realise there were diners like this in Japan that feed low income kids. Heartwarming! Beautifully made film.

Solid film

Really a solid film with solid acting from the kids. I was engrossed and I didn't think I would be. Touching in many parts. Brings me back to my own childhood dealing with issues like bullying, community and a sense of class struggles.

Recommended.
