Sex & Nudity

  • Papi, the father of the main protagonist Popee, is a rather flamboyant character who occasionally acts in a suggestive manner. In an episode, he tries to kiss Popee non consensually.
  • In another episode, Popee is struggling to sleep, and Papi decides to help him. He brings two baby milk bottles and positions it in his chests, then squeezes as it resembles breasts. He also did it in a hilariously suggestive manner and later on forces Popee to drink the milk.
  • In some episodes, Kedamono is seen watching a show with two alien girls dancing in bikinis

Violence & Gore

  • Some hits and wounds especially in the character of Popee are too excessive to the point of letting see that the character is bleeding sometimes with excessive amounts of blood over the body, although this was done as a comical tone in Japan.
  • Most of the violence is comedic in nature and unrealistic.
  • In the episode (Gunman) The last seconds of seeing popee, popee gets shot with the bullet, and blood is shown to the forehead.
  • Nosebleeds are often shown
  • In one episode, Popee and Papist are bombed by bombers.

Profanity

  • None.
  • Some uses of the middle finger. It is mostly unintentional since the characters only have three fingers.
  • Since their is no dialogue in the series, other than only one use of dialogue in the final episode, there is no profanity.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Some episodes may show use of lethal substances, such as steroids.
  • Alcohol is shown at a dinner table once
  • In one episode Popee is shown taking steroids to get stronger

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Popee sometimes makes evil looking facial expressions which may disturb some viewers
  • The episode "Swallower" is the most disturbing episode in the series
  • Some episodes have guns, including a pistol, a sniper, and many more, this may scare young audience.

Violence & Gore

  • Many characters die in some episodes but come back in the next episode alive and well
  • In the episode titled 'Swallower', It features the main character, Popee, accidentally impailing himself on a sword as he tries to swallow it. His assistant Kedamono attempts to remove the sword by tying it to the back of a truck and dragging Popee around. By the time Popee is finally free, we see an excessive amount of blood dripping down his face as he tries to attack Kedamono. This episode is considered the darkest out of the entire series and was banned after airing once in Japan.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • In one episode, Popee tries to kill himself with a gun, he is stopped before he can do it, though. This may be upsetting to some viewers.
