A funny comedy of mistaken identities...

I didn't know what I was getting myself into here, as I sat down to watch the 2018 Mandarin comedy titled "Hello Mrs. Money" (aka "Li Cha de gu ma"). All I knew was that it was a Chinese comedy, and it was essentially all that was needed to win me over.

And now that I have seen the movie, I must say that director Yuhan Wu definitely managed to impress me, and deliver a very enjoyable and funny comedy of mistaken identities.

The storyline is pretty straight forward and very easy to follow. And I will say that it is a storyline that you quickly get wrapped up in, especially because of the hilarious moments in the plot and the lovable characters. And the pacing of the story was persistent, which made for not a single dull moment throughout the course of the entire movie.

I wasn't familiar with the cast in the movie, but I can say that they definitely put on good performances, and they were well cast for their roles in the movie.

The laughs were plenty and wholeheartedly in this romantic comedy, and I was more than genuinely entertained by "Hello Mrs. Money", and it is a movie that I can warmly recommend you sit down to watch, if you find yourself presented with the opportunity to do so.

My rating of this 2018 "Hello Mrs. Money" lands on a well-deserved six out of ten stars.

I saw this film on an online platform without and expectation, it was soso, I wish it was better. Hoping that I would be funny but I end up trying to force myself to laugh when I know the parts what was suppose to be funny. I can't say it is very successful in the execution but I think the crew has try their best but it's not something that are good at. The plot is flat and I almost fell asleep a few times only to find myself going for bathroom breaks without pausing the film and coming back hoping that it will be over soon. I am the type that once I start watching a film, I will stick till the end hoping that the film will win me over at the end; unfortunately this did not and only left my empty and drain but mentally and physically.
