This is a warm, clever show who does what a show/movie should do: it observes peacefully what humans do/social interactions on a larger or (in this case) smaller level and then portrays these many typical human actions/(sometimes) craziness or flaws in a positive, humorous way - without ridiculing anybody or even spreading hate for political prapaganda reasons like too many other shows are doing recently - at least so far Life in Pieces has not defamed other nations/Europeans/ Germans like other shows love to do (uncalled for). This episode is especially well done because it takes a look at the past of the characters - again with fun and without (harmful) mockery/always with a smile. I loved the last section the most, the bit about John retiring was so fresh and great and hilarious - this is creative, true, positive filmmaking, way to go!!
