OK-ish but way too many episodes and unrealistic storyline
Fletiromi2 January 2024
This series could have been done with a maximum of 8 to 10 episodes, The 16 as presented is just way too many.

Acting is not bad, except for Gaite Jansen. My God what a poor performance, Her acting is so bad, it does't even qualify for a side character in a soap series.

Casting could have done a better job, to say the least.

The most disappointing part besides Gaite's "acting" is the unrealistic storyline. Starting episode 11 is keeps dragging on with numerous unrealistic twists.

All in all a "good enough series" for a rainy Sunday.

Although this series has too many episodes and here and there too unrealistic, I would have rated it 7, But due to Gaite Jansen acting (poor, annoying and distracting) I can't rate it higher than 6: OK-ish.

Good for the first half

Warning: Spoilers
Very interesting series for the first part of the series but gets annoying and too long after episode 10. The plot gets a bit absurd and too spun out.

It's a pity because of the promising start. We were looking forward to a great thriller. And a lot of intriguing personalities with dark and surprising sides. But during the last episodes the characters and intrigue become ridiculous and very unbelievable. I really think this could have been a much better story when it would have a better storyline in the end.

Good performances of Daan Schuurmans and Ariane Schluter as the main couple. Next time better.

An incomplete and ugly puzzle
Guanche4817 September 2023
Where to start? Well, first I will say that at first I was a little disappointed when I discovered that it was a remake of a Spanish series, but I haven't been able to find the Spanish version in the country where I live, I love the actress Blanca Portillo.

So, I have seen this Dutch version instead and it surprised me because of the good story line, tension, psychological psychopathy and crime.

The series would have been a looot better if there had only been 11 or 12 episodes, more than enough, has 16! From episode 10, a lot of plots are already given away, and the story becomes illogical and full of stupid inventions, I lost some interest in seeing it until the end, but... it still maintains what we often say.. what is going to happen and how will it end? It is not meaningless.

The acting is quite good, and it's been a long time since I've seen the actor Daan Schuurmans. Quite good! There are more good actors in the entire series, the judge, his wife, did not seem like a good choice in terms of appearance, that hairstyle and clothes, omg! She seems like an old-fashioned old lady to me, a good actress for sure!.

The plot is very tense and interesting, a huge puzzle that ends with a totally stupid and unrealistic ending, I would have given it a 9 if it had reached the ending that this good story deserves. It left me a little unsatisfied.

Having said this, the truth is that I still recommend it, it didn't seem like a waste of time to me. If you like psychological series about crimes, police, betrayal..with a good dose of law and court cases, don't miss it!
