Shaun finally gets some help from an unlikely source. The powers that be are concerned that DI Carey is perhaps too clever by half.

There aren't many more plaudits I can throw at The Capture, it continues to be thrilling, captivating drama, it is proving to be one of the real highlights of 2019. For me this was the best episode so far.

Callum Turner is remarkably good as Shaun, I find him so impressive.

It's hard to understand fully just who is involved, and how far up this scam actually goes, this was exceptional.

Loved it. 10/10

Rachel realises that the case relating to Emery is murky. An encounter with the video expert Levy just makes her more suspicious that video footage has been manipulated more than once. Rachel realises that the convictions of some terrorist suspects might be unsafe.

Emery is also wandering around trying to figure out what is happening. Help comes from two mysterious people from some kind of underground movement who seem to know more about CCTV images being manipulated.

This episode sees Emery encounter Rachel, who tells him that he might have been set up.

The question that we are left with is who are the actual bad guys? It seems to be the spy services as they have the resources for all this, but why is Emery the patsy?

It does feel like that we are getting somewhere but I found most of this episode was treading water. It could had been tauter if this was just combined with Episode 3. Instead we have a flabby episode in the middle of the series.
