Entertainment ruined by political activism.

The episode was great until the end when a former inmate who is a Hispanic US citizen is falsely sent to a immigration detention center. This is ridiculous considering she's freshly released and on probation and has to check in with the PO weekly meaning she's fresh in the system. Let's not forget she was arrested in a club in NYC and definitely would have had her ID to get into the club. They would have ran her fingerprints very early during processing and verified she is in fact a US citizen. This is purely a scene for propaganda. The last couple seasons have begun to go this way.

The episodes are getting a little confusing.

Orange is the New Black Season 7 Episode 2

Review : The story of the episode seemed a bit confusing to me because some storylines were shown in this episode that there was no need for storylines.

Acting : Pretty fine.

Direction : Not So Good.

Story : Not a very good one and not a very bad one.

Dialogue : Good

Background Score : A very good background score was not used.

Soundtrack : Pretty fine.

Cinematography : Good enough.

Editing : Good.

Lighting : Pretty fine.

Overall Episode : Judging by all, I gave this episode eight stars out of ten.

Music, acting and plot all truly compelling

The new warden 'Ward' is an exciting prospect. McCullogh's arc is intriguing although it has harrowing potential. The ending was the best part, with impeccable sorrowful music played over the top. Season 7 has got off to an exciting start and looks to captivate an engrossing, if some what inconsistent, series.

I know it's too soon to tell, but i think they're killing it this season, ep 2 is excellent, and the ending, omg, I screamed at my laptop when I see that character. Yay!

Ending none too soon

This show used to have some moment of humor even among the despair, but it turned into a cliche plot of good female unjustly incarcerated and bad everybody else, with the sadistic, idiotic all-white CO at the top of the list.

I ended up on the last season after having skipped three because the show started to get repetitive and I just found out that this is nothing but more of the same. Drug dealing - check; overdosing - check; lesbian romantic love affairs - check; abysmally stupid CO - check; inmates abuse - check; corrupted white warden - check.

We also get more of Suzanne who was kind of endearing on a small dose, but still a pretty aggravating and violent character, who should have run her course some series ago, being sent to Psych or released on compassionate grounds.

All this and absolutely zero laughter in the first two episodes. Talk about flogging a dead horse...

This episode gets a single star for stupidly preaching.

Man, this show has deteriorated terribly. What was once a very entertaining, character-driven TV show, is now a pathetically stupid, poorly researched and dismal soap box for preaching whiny left-wing nonsense. American citizens are NEVER detained by ICE... for any significant period of time, anyway. Especially one that has recently been released from prison and is, therefore, extremely well documented in the NCIC computer system. This documentation includes: PLACE OF BIRTH, which is one very important identity factor used by law enforcement. Just IDIOTIC..

Pretty bad

Last two episodes were not entertaining or valuable or anything. Just plain preaching of certain political agenda, and in rather bad and uninventive way. Totally predictable and uniform show with nothing much original. Characters are too thin and unconvincing. Just bad. Most likely will quit watching any further and give automatically minimum score for the rest after this.
