Great episode shines a light on hatred!
percybagonia25 March 2018
Sadly, we live in a world were some judge those who differ from them as being bad, evil or even unworthy of being represented in a television program. However, not only does this episode demonstrate how far some prejidiceal people's hatred will go to destroy others, it also points out how far people of good intent will go to help those being oppressed. Actually, there are no pro LGBTQ lines in this episode. Only observations of the prejudice and hatred against a group of LGBTQ people and how far courageous good people will go to help them. I loved this episode!

Too Preachy

This episode was a bit far-fetched. Additionally, it was very preachy from a left-wing view. The ideology took precedence over good story telling.

Trying to be too Black & White

Warning: Spoilers
Well..... one more for liberals who don't understand social and political environment in Turkey regarding LGBTQ communities, they have freedom and right like any other person living in Turkey, in this episode's instance there are OPENLY gay/lesbian bars and clubs in Turkey hell they even have rave parties at weekends. Yes an authoritarian regime is currently running the country and no the terror problems started waaaaay back when Turkey had more liberal and open minded government. But portraying Turkish troops beating the refugees like they were in a gulag just entirely out right insult to a country which had taken in 2.5 million of refugees from Syria alone. Attacking (politicaly) to a nations president is ok but condemning an entire nation's population based on a person who elected with 44% of votes is just out right propaganda, I don't like trump but I love America just as in every democracy, which Turkey has, there is fine line between realty and out right propaganda.

Warning: Spoilers
I think this willl end me to see more of Madam Secretary after this episode.. Well always blaming the other countries harsh, and showing US administration soo liberal Humanist and makes no mistake at all..always threatening the others.. Wake up your admini, stration is republican .. Ms Hall Do you really think LGBT is a real issue here among all the world's suffering refugees and people are torn apart from their own land and try to survive and those doing whatever necessary stay a live whereever they can.. Turkey is that country you are blaming as hater of lgbt so ask yourself how many gays and lesbians are killed by the state or put in prison because they are gay or lesbian transexual ??!! You present this country as Kurdish hater where there are more than 20 mil Kurdish people live . So especially in Middle East ..Turks dont hate Kurdish people But they hate terrorists who kill This is a political show and should be aware of your allies..Ms Hall i am fond of this show Homeland, You had also written there hopefully you don't screw like you screw here..
