- Constable George Crabtree: Well, I suppose I could shorten it. TV dinner. And you could eat it whenever you are watching whatever can see out your window, I suppose. I mean the news of the day, some copper solving a case, perhaps a cooking competition.
- Inspector Thomas Brackenreid: That sounds ridiculous. Why wouldn't you just get yourself a wife?
