Decent, but could have been better.

I'm not sure how many dramas I'vee watched over the last few years that follow the same format slow opening, superb penultimate episode, and a slightly underwhelming finale. Strangers follows the exact same pattern, I suppose all the action happened in the previous episode.

There were definitely some highlights, and some unexpected moments, particularly the unveiling of the real criminal.

Very well acted, John Simm has been superb throughout. The last scene in Hong Kong I think helps define the true meaning of 'Strangers.'

I said at the beginning it would end in a wet London, and it did.

Good, but just fell a little short. 7/10

Not bad

This is definitely not the best series out there. I did find it intriguing enough to continue watching. Jonah was very tenacious and never gave up. I wish I had a man care about me that much to find out what happened to me.

I felt like some things were not explained very well but we should all be used to that by now (ie:plot holes).

I would recommend people give it a watch if you are bored in quarantine and have nothing else to watch.

Episode 1.8

The Williams brothers write the finale and it ends just a little too conveniently.

All the wrongdoers, enablers, the people trying to take advantage of Xo's abuse of Megan find that time has run out.

All the loose ends are neatly wrapped up. Jonah stayed in Hong Kong because he wanted to find out who Megan really loved and he ended up toppling the man at the very top, Xo.

Hang on, what about the crooked police? They were left untouched.

David Chen would still be alive if the hitman would not had been let go in the previous episode. A policeman stopped him for a defective brake light.

When Jonah returns home, he finds a letter that provides him with the answers he was looking for.

A series that would had done much better if it was only half as long.
