Defining what you believe in on a high level of importance is often much more of an art than one might think. It takes great competence, desire, and intelligence to create a beautifully defined documentary masterpiece, such as, The Jewels of The Salton Sea. And I believe that's exactly what this is. In viewing this documentary several times over, I applaud Steven Vitaliti for accomplishing just that. His directing and cinematography in depicting the ultimate sanctuary of life as it was intended, and why we should protect nature, is superb! I find that the significance of its message is quite apparent that Steven, Grace, and Rick, put their hearts and souls into what they believe in. Enduring very high temperatures like they did in the making of this film goes beyond what an ordinary person would strive to do. I am so very thrilled for their dedication to The Jewels of The Salton Sea, because, I too, believe that it is our duty as inhabitants of our earth to do our part in preserving and protecting nature as much as we possibly can on an individual basis. I cannot wait to see this full documentary on television!!
