An excellent final episode.

Terry receives a message from Brian, who's keen to have his share.

Wonderful, if they hadn't been so greedy, so confrontational and so stupid, they'd have probably gotten away with this enormous heist. Even with having a potential fortune, they still quarrelled.

They spun it somewhat differently, and tried to show the impact this theft had on real lives.

I know it's a strange thing to bring morals in, but they should have split with Brian, he did have a point.

I think they got this final episode pretty spot on, they really did build on the aggro between the guys, and they managed to create some real tension.

Acting, again first rate, Cranham and Spall once again fantastic. Really nice to see two of the old cast from Auf wiedersein pet reunited.

Cracking final episode, 9/10.

Episode 4

Kenny does not realise that he is being followed by the police. He really was some lookout!

Brian is brooding that he has been left out from his share of the loot.

Terry just wants to break free of Brian and get one over him. A chance to show his independence.

The final episode makes drama from the tension between Brian and Terry. It leads the gang to make mistakes.

However mistakes were made from the very start. Some they got lucky with others they never realized until it was too late.

Ultimately Brian had a point. Terry and a few others were very sloppy. They broke all the rules they had set.

I think the drama improved from an underwhelming first episode. I think getting a gripping narrative from the robbery was a tad more difficult for the writers. They had to balance the true life story with a creative licence to bring a tension to the story.
