May We Meet Again
Splarke228 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
5x13 will go down as one of the most heart-wrenching episodes of The 100 to date. An absolutely incredible finale all the way through. What started out as a war for Eden, quickly turned into a desperate evactuation to save the human race. All of our faves seemingly survived the battle & made it out alive, but it wouldn't be a The 100 season finale without some heartbreak. The group had to go into cryosleep until earth would become survivable again. Except, it never did. Once Bellamy & Clarke woke up, it had already been 125 years.. Monty & Harper were long gone & had a son which they named Jordan (in honor of Jasper!). Monty gave his life in order to find a way to save all of his friends & because of him, they'll soon be inhabiting a new planet. I'm absolutely devastated that we lost Monty, however I'm SO intrigued by the endless possibilities on the horizon for Season 6. So many insane storylines & episodes could come from exploring a brand new planet, I can't wait!!

The 100 finales are always incredible & I have no doubts Damocles: Part 2 will be remembered as one of the best. 10/10 episode!

BEST Jaw dropping FINALE EVER!!!!! Is there anything above 10 rating??

Warning: Spoilers
Right from the beginning the episode never had any dull moments like previous episodes but filled with intense thrilling and moments. I was so tensed when Murphy got hurt for wether he would be able to make upto ship or not. Thanks to Monty!!! And coming to the cliff hanger it was the part seeing Jordan, Cryo sleep for 125 years, finding eligus 3 mission details, sailing towards new earth like planet with two suns was just about awesome. So sad to see Monty and harpers end!!!! Best heroic deaths one could get on the 100. All the last 20 min I was repeatedly yelling wtfffffffffffffffffffff!!!!! For me after season 1 ending twist this was the ending which I couldn't resist till next year's premier!!! Couldn't rate it above 10 though I wanted to rate it.

JAW-DROPPING
saherodeh-1048822 January 2019
This episode is the best finale I have watched for any show, ever. In 40 minutes, the writers were able to infuse all the elements of an epic storyline. I cried, then smiled, felt an adrenaline rush as time was running out, and it finally concluded with a jaw-dropping wrap up. I would have never guessed or imagined an ending like this. This was more than just unpredictability, it was innovation. I loved every second of it. I wish I can also go to "bed" til the next season airs.

Incredible
jessmhen1239 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Up until season 5, I thought The 100 was a good show. It's had its great moments, but overall it was mainly just good to me. Then season 5 hit. It started off with Eden. The episode where everything was rebooted, and in an incredible way. We saw a glimpse of the characters in space, Clarke on earth with Madi (who was probably my favorite add to the show ever) and at the very end, we saw Octavia watching the fighting pits. At that moment I knew we were in for a wild ride. It set up the season beautifully and I found myself more excited for this show than ever before.

Fast forward three and a half months later, after twelve incredible episodes, each one better than the last, and then we get this powerhouse of a finale. When it started, I was expecting an entire episode filled with war, which I was excited for. But what we got was even better.

About halfway through the episode is when everything hit all at once. Out of nowhere, McCreary decided to destroy the valley (and all surrounding areas), and suddenly, it was all of them racing against the clock to get on the ship before the bomb hit. They just barely made it and seemingly all the characters we care about and love made it out alive.

They discussed the fact that they don't have enough food and water to survive the expected 10 year half life of the bomb up in space. So they decided to put themselves in a cryogenic sleep. Bellamy and Octavia's conversation was powerful. Octavia is finally getting her humanity back and it showed these past couple episodes.

When they woke up... The most unexpected twist of the episode, of the season, of the series. Bellamy and Clarke are the first two to wake. A man comes in the room and they're confused and asking who he is. He reveals that he's Monty and Harper's son, Jordan Jasper Green, and that it's 125 years later, not 10 as they expected. Monty and Harper never went to sleep. They wanted to live their lives together.

Monty and Harper's heartbreaking series of videos explaining what's going on made this episode what it was. In the most emotional scene of the series, we saw them age, we saw them have a child, we saw them put that child in cryo, and we found out that the earth isn't coming back. Fast forward one last time, Monty is an older man, and tells them that Harper died that day. He tells them that the mining mission wasn't a mining mission. They were searching for another planet. Jordan opens up the door and they're all in front of a beautiful planet with two suns. Monty tells them that he put in the coordinates and they'd be there in 75 years. "Can you see it? Is it beautiful? It is in my dreams."

An incredibly powerful season finale, with a heartbreaking (yet incredibly heroic) death to two characters made this episode impossible to give anything but a 10/10.

You just can't rate it lower
adiardelean-573078 August 2018
For years, i was watching this TV Show. In the season 1, i saw potential. Season 2 dissapointed me a little, but it was good after all. Season 3 was good.

But the show changed. Season 4 and Season 5 can be easily compared to what game of thrones or breaking bad are / were showing us. The TV Show grew so much that it can be called a masterpiece. It deserves that. There is no weak point in season 4 and 5.

Now, talking about the episode i'm writing this review about, it was what television has to show its viewers. There is no SF movie or SF Tv Show who did it better than the 100 with this episode. For me, a huge fan of Game of Thrones, it's the best TV Episode i've ever seen. Also, a huge fan of Star Wars, LOTR, and others, i can say, in my opinion, it has the impact of a good-made movie like those i called earlier.

Once again, no weak point! It's unbelievable how good it could be! Look at the new recurring character, Madi. Her character development was awesome, ending with the Damocles: Part 2, where she was a true character, where she became a true leader, and, for us, a main character we'll love to see in the next seasons.

I think the next season will be awesome. They made this too: they settled a new story they can bring to us, one with a lot of potential. I hope it will not be repetitive (we won't see the same conflict from Seasons 1 and 2, or even 3). It has to be something new. It has to be something that will make us say: "HOW?".

In conclusion, for those who didn't watch this episode yet, do it. For those who didn't watch this TV Show yet (if there still are people who didn't), watch it! I can assure you won't regret it. Of course, it has some issues to, but, trust me, there are so few that you won't even notice them.

Nice episode
phlexss10 October 2018
I didn't like season 5 very much. It contained too much boring fighting, a lot of betrayal and stupid unbelievable stuff....not a lot going on. Also I don't see how anybody could still trust Clarke because she is betraying people and friends left and right and seems to be perfectly willing to torture and/or kill anyone who gets in her way. I keep hoping someone puts her out of her misery so we can move on. How she can be a/the main character is beyond me. Some real-life dictators have nothing on her and her. The next season looks promising and I hope they quit the tribal fighting and constant betrayals. It's time for something new.

How it's getting a 9 is beyond me as it's just keeps getting worse. This is my final season and I've watched from season 1 but this is now dross they really need to cull some of the key characters and move on. Clark Bellamy her drugged up mother would be a start.

It's dead to be now.

Best Ep[isode Yet
rblument-125 October 2018
I have always found The 100 to be way above my initial expectations, but this final episode of Season 5 takes it to a whole new level. The final 5-6 minutes was science fiction at its absolute finest, up there with the best of Star Trek or even 2001: A Space Odyssey. And because I try not to supply spoilers, you will have to watch it to see for yourself.

This episode starts with the classic war for survival on planet Earth, and some of it became a bit too glorified war epic for my taste. There are some tender moments that involve Clarke and Madi and Bellamy and Octavia, and there is a ridiculous down to the wire moment that I could have done without. That ending though, quiet, thoughtful, compassionate, spiritual, moving, and so well done. It was simply some of the best television I have seen.

First time I ever written a review
eu_lilputp8 August 2018
Like the title says, it's the absolute first time that I write a review, neve really felt compelled to write about the (thousands) of films and TV Series I watch, mainly because everybody already said everything about them.

With this episode, that changed. I've watch this series since the first episode, and even though sometimes along the seasons it bored me a bit, I've never gave up on it, specially because in the middle of the never ending loop of chaos and rebirth, there was something new and interesting happening. And in this 13rd episode right in the middle of that chaotic spiral that characterises The 100 season endings, they've managed to surprise me in a way I've never expected. Now I just look forward to next season, knowing I won't be disappointed.

Amazing
Ep 12 and 13 broke some of the momentum of what I thought a was a great season. Maybe that was just me. But as 13 went on it was really great. I started liking the twist at the end, and then BOOM an even bigger twist. It was so sad really, I was shocked and then I cried as I saw what happened. Wow, it's gonna be amazing next season. Cannot wait!

Epic Last Ten Minutes
Anonnamus29 May 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This finale invoked emotion, something that usually doesn't happen from a CW show for me. Now our characters have to live with the consequences of their actions. Betrayals and lies are abundant among this group but when it comes down to it, even the very last second, they pull through. A little too close for comfort, in my opinion.

  • I have never been prouder of a character in my entire history of watching this show. Octavia, this is why you're one of my favorites even after you lost your way. This was the action of a true hero. Clarke, take notes. I'm not gonna lie, I teared up a bit.
  • I'm glad Madi is now recognized as Commander and all, but doesn't she still have to recite names? I mean, that was the main plot point of an entire season.
  • That brings me to another question. I'm curious as to how Gaia became Flamekeeper, other than the writers made it so. I thought Titus was the sole Flamekeeper which is why he killed himself so that Ontari would never ascend. Did they explain this and I missed it somehow? Whatever, I don't care. She's a great Flamekeeper.
  • Madi is a true leader, which makes it an almost certainty that she will not be connected to that chip much longer. We can't have leaders making rational decisions. That is not The 100 way. I think it's a credit to the actress. Not sure there are too many kids that could pull off acting as a leader of an entire army at 12 years old and make it believable.
  • Echo channeling her inner Oliver Queen, I love it. She's no longer an expendable character to me. I hope she stays for awhile. I fear that Miller, Monty, Harper, Shaw, and Diyoza are about to meet their ends though. I also thought Gaia would be a goner, especially after her uttered "My fight is over" in the last episode. Glad to know I was wrong!
  • Oh, Diyoza. You are new. You don't know that Clarke only threatens and kills her friends. It's cute that you thought she'd kill a bad guy.
  • Also, Diyoza. What kind of ruthless trained killer and destroyer of worlds WRITES DOWN MISSILE LAUNCH CODES IN A NOTEBOOK? That's like Bad Guy 101.
  • I have a big problem with the world ending because a guy with a really bad hairdo is throwing what amounts to a temper tantrum. He's taking his ball and going home, and screw Earth. This is stupid. There has to be a way to stop those missiles. Oh, god. Are they really going to be using those cryo chambers? I was being a smartass when I said it before. Also, again Clarke should have killed the bad guy. Instead, she just kicks him in the face. So now what, he's going to regain consciousness long enough to kill a couple of other people before someone finally takes him out for good?
  • The last ten minutes or so was so good I couldn't pause it to write any thoughts down. I think cryosleep is the coolest concept and I'm glad the show decided to use it. I also cried seeing Monty and Harper age so much, and not just because their makeup jobs were horrible. Monty was another favorite and he will he missed. Jordan somehow looks just like Harper, so I really have to commend the casting crew.

I can't wait to see this next season. I'm glad I'm binge watching this so I don't have to wait to see new episodes. A new planet with 2 suns? Also, I was so so wrong about predicting deaths and nothing makes me happier. This season definitely hasn't been one of my favorites, but I can say that the finale was one of the better ones of the series.

Just finished watching 5 season after just 6 days (I know you probably do the same thing after the first episode). I just don't know how I ignored this amazing show. season 3 was a little bit weak. but again after that it's getting better and better till the season 5 finale. As a person who see a lot of movies and series, It had everything. season 5 finale was beyond the great. I'm sure you won't be able to even blink in this episode, Specially in the last 8 minutes. Why are you still reading this?! Go watch it dude...

Warning: Spoilers
Apparently I am the only one that watched the first 20minutes of the episode where the just glossed over the taking of the canyon and the magic bullet an arrow, which would make the Warren Commission proud. The taking of the village was ridiculously short and convenient. They just wrappped it up way to fast just to get to the setup for next season.

Mindblowing
nadinenabilnb15 August 2018
Wow.. I am floored by how the 100 never fails to exceed my expectations. The last 5 minutes were an absolute masterpiece in terms of acting, soundtrack, visuals, and laying down the foundation for the next season in a satisfying way that still leaves you wanting more. I was a little concerned it was going to stay within the storylines that were already explored in the past seasons, but this is a completely new directions with so many possibilities. It doesn't feel forced or out of the blue; it's very organic although I never would have expected it. I love how the 100 can be so many shows at once without making it a weird patchwork of wannabe genres. I absolutely can't wait for season 6 (and I never want this show to end if you ask me).
