Mummies and Makeup with Robert Kurtzman (2016)
*** (out of 4)
This eight-minute interview with makeup artist Robert Kurtzman has him discussing his work on the 2002 film BUBBA HO-TEP. He starts off talking about when he originally met director Don Coscarelli and then how he got involved with this picture. From here he does a great job at talking about the bad shooting locations including the house that had no air conditioning so Bruce Campbell's makeup was constantly melting. He also talks about the creation of the mummy costume and what it was like working with Coscarelli. If you're a fan of the film then there are certainly enough good and fun stories told here to make it worth your time. At just eight-minutes there's nothing overly ground-breaking here but it's a fun featurette.
