'The Bitch' with Gerry O'Hara (2017)
*** (out of 4)
This here is an eighteen-minute interview with Gerry O'Hara who discusses his career as an assistant director as well as his 1979 film THE BITCH with Joan Collins. O'Hara starts off talking about what got him interested in the business and then he goes into how he got involved with the film in question. From here he talks about what he was trying to bring to the film and how important it was to keep everything in the film moving at a good pace. For the most part this is a nice interview, although there's really not too many stories about Collins so fans of hers might be disappointed. O'Hara tells some nice stories but I can't help but think it would have been better asking him more about some of the films he was an assistant director for.
