This is the second film that Kelli Berglund and Emily Morris have co-starred in; the first film being "Raising the Bar" (2016). They are also good friends in real life.
A kangaroo visited the set whilst filming at Gorge Wildlife Park at Cudlee Creek in South Australia, Australia.
Writer-producer-director Clay Glen said of this film: "Shooting these family genre films in Adelaide is perfect. With easy access around the city and superb locations plus add in outstanding crew the production values achieved are well beyond the budget. South Australian Film Corporation are tremendously supportive and have assisted in making the slate of family films possible."
All the cast in the film except American lead actress Kelli Berglund were South Australian except for a specialist role for a contortionist who came from Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Two versions of the film were made - one for Australia and an International (or American) version.
