Well, Im a big fan of Jelangkung (2001) movie. This movie, Jailangkung (2017) is terrible. Totally and utterly bad acting, Bad script and Bad Narrative.

Bella (Amanda Rawles), call "Bapak" to Wardana at the first and changes to "Om" after. Rama (Jefry Nicol), call Angel without Kak at the first (when enter house in Alas Kramat) and then changes to Kak Angel. Its impossible the clothes they wear in Alas Kramat island suddenly dry, but the rain just came in previous scene.

The plot is very unattractive and only straight until the end of the movie. Can't be expanded by a director like Rizal Mantovani??. The worse thing is there's absolutely nothing interesting from the whole story in this movie, very different from its predecessor Jelangkung(2001) who can present horror movie with an interesting story to watch. Bella and Rama's who suddenly familiar are also very ridiculous and seem to want to shorten the story, plus there are some very unreasonable scenes and difficult to digest by common people, making this movie look more stupid and TIDAK JELAS.

Well, the point is this movie was so boring and it's just wasting my money and my time. Even its for free it will only wasting my time.

One of the worst film

The film just as bad as you can expect. The acting, the script, and the narrative just awful. There's no entertaining from this movie. The big budget wasted. I don' t care the promotion that calls 2 million people watching this movie, but personally i can call this one of the worst movie. Wasting my time. I hope more from Rizal Mantovani but it disappointment. Even there's nothing jump scare scene in this movie. I love the 1st film but ended with this garbage.

what a joke

A very big disappointment. I was deceived by the trailer. The whole movie was a joke. I stayed inside the cinema just for mocking the movie. the acting was weird (PLEASE DO CASTING SERIOUSLY. DON'T JUST TAKE ANY POPULAR ACTOR OR ACTRESS THAT HAPPENING) AND THE PLOT WAS MAKING ME REALLY ANGRY AND LAUGH AT THE SAME TIME. TO SUM UP ABOUT THIS MOVIE: IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BAD. Sorry for the caps lock. I just can't contain my anger.

No quality storyline

A stupid movie I've ever seen. Seriously script writer, sharpen your imagination PLEASE dong. Seram nya biar harus ada logika deh. DISAPPOINTED !

I have yet to watch his film anyway but from its trailer fair there his horror. not like a lunkhead era film Indonesian in shows Sexy body only. I want to support the movie horror, if possible in make more spooky again and the way a good story ... i hope indonesian movie goes to international and hope the story will good
