“Don’t get me wrong, Michael Jackson was around. Marvin Gaye called the house all the time. Cher and my dad and my mom and Michael played doubles tennis. Andy Warhol photographed me. You know what I mean?”
“All of that stuff was just a part of my life. But at the same time, the feelings and the experiences and the way my mother created home life for us was very ‘normal,’” she continued.
“My mom, of course, has led a very public life, but she is such a private person, and such a home person.

All interpersonal relationships are complicated. But there’s just something classically (even banally) fraught in the complex negotiation of emotion between Male and Female, a knotty 50-foot Route 66 twine ball full of interwoven power dynamics, sexual dysfunction and societal expectation. The heat fractals thrown off by this ceaseless Xx/Xy friction have propelled 10,000 of human civilization and countless works of art and storytelling—from Bible stories to sexy Netflix originals like Fair Play and May December. Or, for that matter, the three projects in this month’s Fiscal Spotlight.
Each of these three short narrative films center female protagonists, unmoored in the midst of an existential crisis brought on by a male counterpart. In two of the films, the male in question is a romantic foil—or at least perceived to be. The third explores the dynamic between student and educator, placing its dynamic in the context of artistic potential...

Take a look at "Heart of Stone", "Wonder Woman" actress Gal Gadot, wearing Ferragamo, Dolce and Gabbana and Bottega Veneta, in the latest issue of “Flaunt” magazine, photographed by Greg Swales:
"I love language, and sometimes it's frustrating that I live my life in English now," said Gadot.
"I dream in English but still don't have the language completely embedded within me.
"Whenever I get frustrated, I'm like, 'I'm still an immigrant'.
"I always look at the glass as half full...It took time to adjust to Hollywood — to understand the behavior, to read people, to be more polite.
"I come from a culture where we don't have filters. We say what we think, good and bad.
"My parents didn't raise me to be the star of the family or to become famous. I didn't think I was going to be an actress.By the time I got 'Wonder Woman',...

“Barbie” has blossomed into one of the biggest hits of Margot Robbie’s career, giving the Australian actress her first billion dollar box office haul and early buzz for a third Oscar nomination. The film has become so omnipresent in pop culture that it’s hard to imagine anyone other than Robbie playing Stereotypical Barbie — but Robbie wasn’t always convinced that she was right for the role.
The “Babylon” star was only attached to “Barbie” as a producer in the project’s early stages (she has been credited with convincing Greta Gerwig to write and direct the film). And in a May interview with Vogue prior to the film’s release, Robbie revealed that she was originally interested in casting Gal Gadot as the iconic doll.
“Gal Gadot is Barbie energy,” Robbie said. “Because Gal Gadot is so impossibly beautiful, but you don’t hate her for being that...

Gal Gadot says Tom Cruise is the only actor who does his own stunts.Although the 38-year-old actress does her own stunts where possible, she insisted that it is important to highlight the stunt teams who take over when things are too dangerous or tricky for her.Speaking to Flaunt magazine, she said: "When people say: ‘I do all of my stunts by myself,’ I’m like, ‘Really?!’ [The only exception] is Tom Cruise, who really, really does them. "I always try to celebrate my stunt women and men. The amount of work and the risk they take, the dedication—everything they give is just incredible. They’ve become like a second family to me. They should be celebrated because they really make us look like the best version of ourselves."Gadot recently made a return to the 'Fast and Furious' franchise in 'Fast X', despite her character appearing to be...

Gal Gadot Says Being Margot Robbie’s First Choice for Barbie ‘Warmed My Heart’: ‘I Was Very Touched’
Given the $1 billion success of “Barbie,” it’s hard to picture anyone in the title role other than Margot Robbie. But the actor explained to Vogue back in May that it was actually Gal Gadot who was her first choice to star as Barbie. Robbie is a producer on “Barbie” and did not immediately envision herself in the role. Gadot was at the top of her list, but scheduling conflicts prevented the “Wonder Woman” star from entering Barbieland.
“I adore Margot,” Gadot now tells Flaunt magazine about being the top choice for the “Barbie” movie. “Margot is one of those women who you just want to be friends with. She is so funny, warm, fun and smart and obviously so talented. She brings so much to the table. I would love to do anything with Margot and was very touched [by her comments]. She warmed my heart with everything that she said about me.

Bad news for fans of “Wonder Woman.”
On Thursday, Variety reported that despite recent comments to the contrary from Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot, there are no plans for Warner Bros. to mount a third “Wonder Woman” film.
The news is perhaps a bit awkward since Gadot has said in multiple interviews that she spoke with DC Films leaders James Gunn and Peter Safran about again playing the Amazonian warrior in another feature.
Speaking to ComicBook.com last month, Gadot said, “I love portraying Wonder Woman. It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a ‘Wonder Woman 3’ together.”
During an interview with Flaunt magazine, Gadot sounded even more confident about starring in “Wonder Woman 3.”

There are no plans for a Wonder Woman 3 at Warner Bros.’ DC Studios, Deadline has confirmed with sources.
Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot got the internet all excited with comments she made in a pre-SAG-AFTRA strike interview with Comic Book.com for the Netflix movie Heart of Stone, that she was developing a threequel with Gunn and Safran. She further emphasized those statements in another sitdown with Flaunt magazine.
“I was invited to a meeting with James Gunn and Peter Safran [co-chairperson and CEO of DC alongside Gunn] and what they told me, and I’m quoting: ‘You’re in the best hands. We’re going to develop Wonder Woman 3 with you. [We] love you as Wonder Woman— you’ve got nothing to worry about.’ So time will tell.”
Following Gunn and Safran turning down Patty Jenkins’ plans for Wonder Woman 3 back in December, it has never been part of the new DC leadership’s plans to make Wonder Woman 3. Ironically,...

Is a third “Wonder Woman” movie on the way from Warner Bros. and DC Studios? Not quite.
Despite recent comments from Gal Gadot claiming DC heads James Gunn and Peter Safran told her they would develop “Wonder Woman 3” together, sources with knowledge of the situation tell Variety that is not the case. According to the sources, a third “Wonder Woman” film is not in development at DC Studios nor do Gunn and Safran have plans at this time for any “Wonder Woman” project in the new DC Universe other than their previously announced “Paradise Lost” prequel series for Max.
Gadot first suggested that “Wonder Woman 3” might not be fully dead in an interview with ComicBook.com. “I love portraying Wonder Woman,” she said. “It’s so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and from Peter is that we’re gonna develop a ‘Wonder Woman 3’ together.
