Mother's Day with Actress Mary Beth Hurt (2017)
*** (out of 4)
Fun fourteen-minute interview with actress Mary Beth Hurt who talks about her role in the 1989 cult film PARENTS. She starts off talking about the screenplay, how she got the part and then she goes into the production. She shares some fun stories about her parents and growing up in the 1950s and how this here effected her performance. From here she tells some very good stories about her co-workers including talking about how generous Randy Quaid was. If you're a fan of PARENTS then there's no question that you'll enjoy watching this featurette. Obviously there's nothing ground-breaking on display here but it's certainly a very entertaining interview with the actress. It's always good when they're not ashamed of parts like these and Hurt shares some very good stories.
