At Least The Scenery Was Nice

First the good news. Miguel Faustmann as President Mendoza is a little over the top, but without him this movie would have been a 0. I believe it's Miguel's first acting gig and he rose to the occasion while laying out the plot through self righteous, or riotous, declarations. The scenery is very good especially compared to other "B" Movies made in the Philippine's with it lush tropical landscape and even some pine trees. The Bad News, There is a stupid body switch scenario that just does not work, and a terrible plot hole towards the end of the movie. The screenplay is an embarrassment, and whoever thought Corwin Sperry (Max Draven) was leading man material must have been the same bunch who cast frumpy Ingrid Erlandson (Carla) and Kristine Erlandson (Sheila) as co-leading ladies. Corwin and Ingrid were absolutely terrible while Kristine, also not missing many meals, was slightly better. Mendoza President of the Central American Country of Costa Brava will gleefully lie and kill for the almighty dollar while commanding an army of Filipinos in Central America. Sorry to say President Mendoza isn't enough for me to recommend this blow them up and shoot them down disappointment.
