I loved it from start to finish. What an amazing exploration of Venice from the early beginnings, through the black plague, to Venice today. You take a look at it's contribution to trade and commerce and even look at the seedier side of Venice.
I did notice that when discussing the statues flanking the entrance to the Doge's palace, you referenced Neptune on the right and Ares on the left. You were correct with Neptune but the guard on the left is actually Mars.
