- The scenes in which Mary takes off on her broomstick may be intense as it is clear she can't control much, so she often falls.

- There is a scene right at the beginning in which a bright blue explosion destroys a research facility and possibly the town nearby. It presumably kills everyone inside.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Very young children may be disturbed by the brief, slightly frightening appearances of animals being held captive who were subject to failed transformation experiments; however, the animals are changed back to their original form.
- Two characters experiment on students. In the past, those characters killed at least one student when they inadvertently created an explosion that destroyed their laboratory.
- The chimeras later in the film are freaky. Chances are, children will not like them.
