In its third series Roy Clarke seems to have latched onto the idea of using Sir David Jason and James Baxter as more of a double act, and it works well here.
I like the fact that the show has moved on from the plot that for better or worse seemed to dominate the second series (setting Gastic up with Madge) and is now having more fun because of it.
A decent proper start to the third series.
