Zoe Barrows : Class of 2017, it is an honor to be able to address you all here today. The future is not just handed to us. We create it. Life is filled with possibilities. There is no tomorrow without us. My mother taught me at a young age, that as individuals, we are powerful. How we use that power is up to us. I dreaded all the emotion of saying good-bye to my friends, my family. As exciting as the future is... it's also scary. It's the unknown. But then I started realizing this isn't the end, this is just the beginning. My challenge for the class of 2017? Make a difference. There are problems big and small that need to be solved and we can't wait for someone else to solve them. It's up to us now.
