Characters in unstable romantic relationships that won't stop talking accompanied by jazz music, all topped with a sauce of surreal absurdity: Woody Allen on drugs? The playfulness, joy and originality of the film breathes throughout and make it fun and unique, although these qualities often seem to be at the expense of depth. It never really succeeds in transcending it's playful dialogues.
