Matt Di Angelo features this week as Fletch. He and his wife, Caz are trying for a baby and when his mother becomes ill, Caz contacts Fletch's long lost father Patrick (Griff Rhys Jones) The one thing that always affected Fletch was that his dad abandoned him.
Patrick and Fletch have what is far from a touching reunion as it becomes clear that Fletch was a product from an affair Patrick had with his mother. Patrick has a new family and has little interest in rekindling his relationship with Fletch and in turn Fletch goes on a destructive bender while piling the blame on Caz. His workmates have to intervene and get him to sort himself out.
A nice understated performance by Griff Rhys Jones who plays a selfish character but I got bored by Fletch's shenanigans and self pitying. A rather weak episode.
