When Ruth, Debbie, and Carmen arrive at Carmen's house to train with her brothers, her brother 'Big' Curt Jackson (former WWE Superstar Carlito) comes out of the house eating an apple. This is an in-joke about his time in WWE where he was always seen eating an apple on camera, frequently spitting apple in the face of his opponent.
This episode is dedicated to the memory of Chavo Guerrero Sr. (1949-2017). He was a professional wrestler, as well as the father of wrestler Chavo Guerrero Jr. (who trained the actresses for the series) and brother/teammate of wrestler Armando Guerrero, the trainer for the wrestlers on the original show on which this series is based.
