This is a documentary film about a flamenco dancer called La Chana, a fat grandmother-like women, who is over 70 years old with diabetic and bad knees. Really? She can dance? Still?? I was daubtful. But, for the first time in my life, I saw a person dancing flamenco in a sitting posture. And for the first time in my like, I was moved to a flood of tears by the sitting dancer.
I can't explain why or what it was, but maybe that's what flamenco is.
