Paul Feig took part in one of the Tribeca Film Festival’s Directors Series Tribeca Talks in New York earlier this week, being hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Michael Ché. While a wide variety of topics were covered from stand-up to working with women, one of the interesting things asked from the audience was when Feig might do a sequel to one of his hit comedies, whether it be Bridesmaids or The Heat or Spy. The latter two there had been talk about a sequel but he didn’t seem too optimistic that any of them might happen.

In spite of the fact that a small subset of people tried to hate it out of existence before they'd even seen a frame of footage, Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters film found plenty of fans when it landed in cinemas over the summer. The movie earned pretty good reviews, and it swiftly became clear on social media that those who went to see were having a good time. The dramatic rise in Ghostbusters cosplay is just one of the positive ramifications of the movie.
