- In order to be able to compete in the dog show, Max must get used to his private parts being touched. Frank tries to get Max okay with him touching him without snapping at him or later on, the judges. Max is adviced to get into his "zen place" to cope and make it through being touched.

- Two uses of "d--n" join an unfinished "sh-." We also hear the incomplete outburst "son of a ..." Other mild exclamations include "dang," "freakin'," "heck," "gosh" and turd.
- A dog tells another dog to grow some balls. And man up.

- There is an intense and very sudden shootout scene between the police dogs and the drug gang. this could scare younger viewers.

- During the competition, Max goes to his "zen place" which includes dancing with his partner, fireworks, and flowers. He is able to get through the touching of the private parts phase of the competition. This may be disturbing to some.

- There is also a scene in which the undercover police cop is discovered by the gang which is followed by the gang threatening to kill the dog.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The movie contains a sequence in which the undercover dog is discovered by the gang and is threatened. Very intense and will upset younger viewers and even adults.
