An officer involved in the controversial shooting of an unarmed person 14 years prior, is up for a promotion which brings up mixed feelings from various NYPD officers, in addition to forcing Frank Reagan to make a difficult decision.
While hunting for a robbery crew on a wild crime spree, Danny and Baez partner with Detective Jimmy Mosley (Johnathon Schaech), a detective from another precinct who broke Baez's heart years ago. Also, when an officer who was acquitted on charges of killing a young boy is up for a promotion, Frank grapples with the decision of moving him up the ladder and risking public outrage.
Danny learns that a crew who robs pro athletes has struck again in Brooklyn and goes to talk to the victim but a detective from Brooklyn says this is his case. And the guy turns out to be Baez's ex. Jamie comes across a girl from Mexico who says her bag was stolen and in the bag is a family heirloom. Jamie reports it and the detective says he'll do his best but he has other cases. The girl approaches Jamie and says she needs it in a few days for her sister's wedding. Jamie offers to look into it. Frank learns that a cop who accidentally shot a boy 14 years ago is being considered for promotion and knows that when word of it goes out there will be backlash.—rcs0411@yahoo.com
