Space Patrol Luluco
Tweekums1 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This series from Studio Trigger follows the adventures of Luluco, a thirteen year old girl who lives with her father on a frontier world. Her father is a member of Space Patrol until something happens that leaves him frozen and Luluco is forced to join! From now on she will be sent on regular missions to detain criminals who threaten that area of space. She works alongside AΩ Nova, a boy who has recently transferred to her class as well as another classmate Midori.

This series of eight minute long shorts is packed with action and some fairly funny moments. The designs are bright and not typical of most anime series something that won't be too surprising to people who have watched previous shows from Studio Trigger. The stories are decent enough although I suspect it is best to watch several at a time rather than just one per week as it is easy to forget what happens in such short episodes. The final episode hints at more to come but only time (and ratings) will tell whether that happens. Overall a fun little series.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

Full Throttle WTF Fun Show!
mercfma3 July 2016
If your looking for something thats deep & meaningful you should look else where, BUT if your just looking for something short thats just awesome animation & artwork with a crazy full throttle ride of epicness then you may want to check this out. It'll make you laugh, its not going to blow you away most likely but if your a fan of studio Trigger's amazing unique animation styles then you'll enjoy this. The story is about this young girl Luluco whos father gets frozen & she takes over her dads job at space patrol in order to find a way to save him. And from episode 1 to the end its just on full blast wtf adventure lol. Story, its got a meaningful message but as I said its nothing thats going to blow your mind. The animation, artwork, & character designs are amazing, classic Trigger. Never disappoints. The music is pretty good, I wasn't a huge fan of the op but I didn't hate it. But the ed song is amazing, I listened to it over & over its so good.

3/5 Why? Its clearly not something of to much substance. Just something made to be a short full blast ride, & thats exactly what it was. Great animation & artwork. Decent music. Decent story for such a short show. If your a Trigger fan you may want to check it out especially seeing how short it is.

Adorable space comedy

After seeing promo pictures, I know it's an anime favorite. From the studio that brought us "Little Witch Academia" comes an adorable space comedy about Luluco.

Luluco is a 13-year-old girl who lives in the space colony of Ogikubo in the distant future. When her officer father ate a pill that froze him, Luluco was forced to take his place in the Space Patrol police force. At first, she was reluctant about this because she wants normality in her life-until she developed feelings for her colleague, a mysterious boy named Alpha Omega Nova.

So as I said, this series is an adorable space comedy with superb animation and, not to mention, an awesome ending theme song. Overall, I really love this show.

Its ok but rather silly and rushed to be honest

Warning: Spoilers
I have to admit the series was ok to watch if you are bored and have no other anime to plan on watching. This series is like more of a cartoon network/nickelodeon/disney channel TV show but this is anime we have to remember it by. I suppose this anime could appeal more to teenage kids better then a 20 something year old like me. It does have some slapstick humour about it and i suppose its light-hearted as well. Although when you watch each episode, its 7 minutes long and they go by really quicker then expected. The writers I think were really rushing each episode too hard and it felt like they were squishing the whole episodes up rather violently lol.

I really would love to have given this a 8 or 9 rating but really, this anime was made in a balls and the fact, we get a friggin cliffhanger type of ending where we don't know if Luluco will ever be reunited with her beloved Nova. Ill just give this a 5/10 because it was kinda appealing even when it didn't turn out to be..........................
