- Stop The Burning is the first film that was entirely produced, written and directed by Jeff Horowitz. Narrated by Dr. Jane Goodall, the goal of this project was to craft a collective narrative from interviews of 30 global leaders from government, civil society and business sectors - all making the case that deforestation must stop immediately if we are to protect our planet from the grim realities of climate change.
This Forest-Climate Production, LLC film is dedicated to the millions of people and plant and animal species who suffered irreparable harm during the 2015 record breaking "slash and burn" fires in Sumatra and Kalimantan. During this period, daily carbon pollution levels in Indonesia were so high they exceeded those of the United States. The 30 forest advocates were all interviewed within a 48-hour period during the 2015 World Economic Forum.
