It's mildly entertaining. The main character is very likable and, at times, funny. Not the worst movie I've seen, certainly not the best.

Waste of time unless your into this type of mindless humor

I'm so sorry I watched this.
I would be tempted to give it a 1 but I usually rate a losing movie a 4. The lowest I have I think has been a 3. The photography isn't bad. I can say the same for what little there is with it. The script and the acting is a disaster in my opinion.
One person said it is California humor and I would agree that part of the country can be a little strange but this is beyond what I have ever experienced there.
Unless you are killing time as you cleanup around your place don't bother to watch it unless your reviewing it for a film class.

Didn't laugh once.

I like to think I have a good sense of humour and can take something from any genre but this was just dull and boring to the point where I literally wanted to slap some of the characters.
We basically spend a day in the life of the most boring man on the planet who is then out bored by friends, friends of friends and random encounters.
The problem with writing, directing and staring in a production like this is that if you don't allow other peoples input or criticism then it's all on you and sadly Andre Hyland, it's all on you.
I gave it 2 stars as the gummy bear scene was mildly amusing but the rest was like spending a day with a distant cousin who you just met and had nothing in common with.

I set up an account just to review this movie after 43 years.

I've been alive for more than 43 years. I've never tried to review a movie until I viewed this one, and frankly I felt I had to watch it all the way through just to see if there was any redeeming value to it.
I've viewed easily 5000 films.
I have seen work of this quality, but it's been since I was in college viewing other students films. I feel sorry for the people that funded this project. It lacks story, intent, acting, production, and purpose. Simply the worst movie I've ever seen.

Film about nothing.

This film is in the same vein as Curb Your Enthusiasm. A simple journey to a store to buy lighter fluid escalates with small hiccups that just get worse and worse.
It's small frustrations and annoyances rather than an epic plot. An annoying Uber Driver, a store clerk enforcing the restroom for customers only policy.
You do feel sorry for the guy but he is just so indifferent to all the things that happens.
I liked this film. It's gentle and doesn't have complex plot. It's not the best film ever made but better than a lot of offerings in cinema. It's a reasonable indie film

Very Funny

If you're not from Southern California, you might not get it entirely. But I lived there a long time, and I thought this movie was very entertaining. It really, in a comedy way, showed the difference between normal human responses to things and "California" responses to things. Personally, I'd watch it again just to make sure I got all the subtle humor. I liked it. :)
Great Flick

A fun indie slacker comedy that's not for everyone

For what it was, I immensely enjoyed this film. The dialogue felt mostly realistic, the situations were very plausible and I found the humor to be great! A lot of situations that were set up did pay off and I noticed that, which shows there was attention to detail while writing the script. I do completely understand why some people didn't like this movie though. This type of humor isn't for everyone. If you like stories centered around awkward situations where unreasonable people make things worse (think It's Always Sunny or The Office), then I'd recommend this slacker comedy.
best movie ever

Very entertaining

The people who gave this movie a thumbs down obviously have no sense of humor. This movie was very entertaining. No long and boring dialogues about nothing.
The character in this movie has a bad day on the 4th of July. Each scenario goes from bad to worse yet each scenario has humor in it. I found it to be very entertaining.
