Does Dua Lipa have a new man in her life? On Feb. 28, the "One Kiss" singer was spotted out with French filmmaker and music video director Romain Gavras, as the two were photographed leaving Saint Laurent's Paris Fashion Week show hand-in-hand, per photos published by Entertainment Tonight. Reps for Lipa and Gavras did not immediately respond to Popsugar's requests for comment, but their latest outing comes after they were reportedly seen leaving a London party together last month.
Lipa was last linked to Trevor Noah after the two sparked dating rumors in September 2022. The comedian and former "The Daily Show" host appeared on the singer's "Dua Lipa: At Your Service" podcast amid speculation, but Lipa confirmed that she was single during an October episode.
"For me, this is the first year I've not been in a relationship for a very long time," said Lipa, who previously dated Gigi and Bella Hadid's brother,...

Alexander Skarsgård is bringing his own unique approach to the red carpet. The actor attended a showing of Brandon Cronenberg's "Infinity Pool" at the Berlin International Film Festival on Feb. 22, but instead of calmly smiling as most people do on the red carpet, he decided to twirl around, strike a few poses, and then lie down flat in front of the cast as cameras flashed. It's unclear why he chose to do all this - perhaps he was reviving the early-2010s planking trend, or protesting the social norms that require people to stand still and smile on red carpets, or just trying to create some chaos.

If there's one thing Damien Chazelle knows how to do, it's an ending. In the heart-rending denouement of "La La Land" we're shown everything Ryan Gosling's Seb and Emma Stone's Mia could have been, before a subtle nod between the two signals a solemn, bittersweet acceptance of their actual circumstances. It's a finale full of false climaxes that explore every possibility to add that much more finality to the true ending.
Before that 2016 musical drama made us all cry, Chazelle had already proven his talent for an emotionally satisfying ending with his breakout 2014 effort, "Whiplash." Drawing on the filmmaker's own experiences of playing in a high school jazz band, the film tells the story of Andrew Neiman (Miles Teller), a drum student at a prestigious New York music academy who will seemingly stop at nothing to become the next Buddy Rich. Throughout the film, he's berated and abused by his instructor,...

The gang’s all here in the trailer for Fast X – the first part of what’s expected to be a two film franchise finale for the Fast Family. As per other instalments, the trailer promises a mix of cheese and ass-kicking glory, with Dominic Torretto (Vin Diesel) going up against a new baddie, Jason Momoa’s Dante, with a big grudge. Based on the trailer, it looks like the big Rio heist in Fast Five had dire consequences for Dante, and now he’s kidnapped Dom’s long-lost son, as a way to get some payback. Luckily, Dom’s got his whole family there to help, including his former brother-turned-enemy-turned-friend Jakob (from F9), the Shaws (Jason Statham and Helen Mirren), plus Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty, Jordan Brewster’s Mia, Tyrese’s Roman, Ludacris’s Tej, Nathalie Emmanuel’s Ramsey and even Sung Kang’s Han to help out. Dante has Charlize Theron’s Cipher,...

If you're a fan of Ti West's "Pearl," then Mia Goth's terrifying smile is etched into your memory. But did you know that the smile wasn't even in the script originally? The idea to extend the smile didn't come til after production began, but it helped the actress access a new dimension of her character.
"Pearl" is the second entry into West's horror trilogy, which also included the 2022 film "X" and the upcoming 2023 film "MaXXXine." Goth plays two iterations of Pearl in the film series — a younger version of the character in "Pearl," set during World War I, and an older version of her in "X," set in the 1970s. She also plays Maxine, the namesake of the third film, who first appears in "X."
Goth's involvement in the project doesn't stop at playing several distinct roles — she actually co-wrote the script for "Pearl" with West. "I would...

It’s been eight years since Italy’s key film and TV market Mia kicked off in Rome and each year its popular co-production market and pitching forum seems to go from strength to strength.
This year the strand, which is already established in drama, documentary and feature film sections, has spread its tentacles to include animation and will see local producers looking for high-profile financial partners and co-production deals get the opportunity to showcase their projects before an audience of industry professionals and top international players from global studios, Ott platforms, broadcasters, production and distribution companies as well as agents and financiers.
This year, Deadline can reveal that there are already some standout pitches across all segments that are sure to drum up interest starting with Crimson Crown, the first series exec produced by Italian master of horror Dario Argento. Being pitched in the Mia drama section, Argento will...

French filmmaker Romain Gavras is best known to the screen-watching world thanks to his arresting and visually ambitious music videos, which have included Jamie xx’s “Gosh,” Kanye West’s “No Church in the Wild” and M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls,” among various others. The film arrives as if the perfect vehicle for Gavras background and ambitions. The youngest son of Oscar-winning Greek director, Costa-Gavras, and French political journalist and film producer, Michèle Ray-Gavras, Romain Gavras grew up steeped in the Greek classics and politically informed art and activism. Horror is scary funny in A24's "Bodies Bodies Bodies." The indie film studio has a solid reputation for making some of the creepiest horror flicks ever, but its latest offering to the genre balances satire and terror in an absurd tale about rich 20-somethings - Sophie (Amandla Stenberg), David (Pete Davidson), Emma (Chase Sui Wonders), Bee (Maria Bakalova), Jordan (Myha'la Herrold), and Alice (Rachel Sennott) - who play a deadly party game in a remote family mansion in the middle of a hurricane. And in true scary-movie fashion, things go "very, very wrong."
"I think ['Bodies Bodies Bodies'] was so good at capturing this very specific subset of Gen Z."
"Bodies, Bodies, Bodies" is a visually appealing take on a slasher story, but with razor-sharp comedy, modern language, and smart takes on Gen Z stereotypes. Most of the cast members tell Popsugar they're horror fans themselves. But they're all selective about the...
