"The Bullwinkle Show" Painting Theft: Parts 1-2 (TV Episode 1962) Poster

William Conrad: Narrator

Quotes

  • Narrator : Today, our story begins at the National Art Gallery in France. A fabulous collection of paintings dating back many hundreds of years and including thousands of old masters. So valuable are these pictures that every room in the gallery is watched by not one, but two guards. Guards whose loyalty is unquestionable. Guards who are honest, faithful...

[notices Boris and Natasha disguised as guards]

    Narrator : And, uh...

Boris Badenov : How about true blue?

    Narrator : But you're not...

    Boris Badenov : Ssh!

[points to a sign that says "Quiet Please!"]

Narrator : [whispers]  But you're not guards. You're Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale.

    Natasha Fatale : Right, dahlink.

Narrator : Well, what are you doing here?

Boris Badenov : Just waiting for you to introduce us.

  • Narrator : For a short time later, Boris and Natasha were on a jet plane heading for uh, uh...

Natasha Fatale : Yes, where are we headed, Boris?

Boris Badenov : To pick up the package we mailed.

Natasha Fatale : Where did you address it, dahlink?

Boris Badenov : Think, Natasha. Who could you send a million dollar package to, he'd be dumb enough to give it back?

Natasha Fatale : You don't mean...

Boris Badenov : Yes, I do.

Narrator : Yes, that package which arrived at its destination a few days later was addressed to...

Mailman : Bullwinkle Moose. Frostbite Falls, Minnesota!

    Bullwinkle J. Moose : That's me, alrighty!

  • Narrator : And the unsuspecting Rocky led the disguised villains to the chicken coop just in time to see Bullwinkle sloshing whitewash over the last Old Master. Of course, there was only one thing for Boris to do... he fainted.
