Episode 8 marks Wendy Richard's first appearance in the show as Hogg's new receptionist, although for those of us who grew up with her as Pauline it's odd to see her cast as a sex symbol. She's certainly game for a laugh and the best thing in a story which otherwise features Hogg up to his usual buffoonish antics and the interventions of a pompous butler. I'm not sure about the weird children's laughter track bolted on to the show.
