OK, so I had kind of high hopes for this, mainly because of the title itself. I was hoping for some vegan humor maybe..? But no. Now I don't know if this was meant to make fun of vegans, (or fuzzy eaters as the synopsis says, they should not be confused, by the way) or if it's made by a vegan. Anyway, it's is no good. Not funny, at all. Not scary (not that I think it was supposed to be). The make up is absolutely horrendously bad. I mean, come on. Maybe it was supposed to be bad? I don't know.
And yes, the budget it super low I'm sure, but still, that make-up job looked like a toddler made it, ffs.
Saw this at Frightfest Glasgow 2016, and the reception was rather good actually. People were laughing. Personally I don't think I even cracked a smile, to be honest. But that's me.
People even laughed at the end credit-pictures, which were sloppily made and not fun at all.
Sorry, I don't usually slaughter movies like this, but this was just so bad. I just SO want to see someone making fun of veganism in a smart way. Haven't seen it yet. And yes, I am vegan, and I know there are laughs to be had. None here though.
