Comedian Richard Lewis, who died February 27 at 76, had a 40-plus year career in film and TV, starting with Diary of a Young Comic, a 1979 TV movie in which he played a fictionalized version of himself. He went on to his own TV series Anything But Love opposite Jamie Lee Curtis, roles in 7th Heaven, Til Death, Blunt Talk and, of course, his long run on Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Don’t adjust the tint on your television if you’re watching ESPN’s College GameDay today. Cohost Pat McAfee really is green.
McAfee admitted to throwing up into a trash can during the commercial breaks of today’s show. Food poisoning is being blamed.
The off-camera ralphing was revealed by Kirk Herbstreit after a commercial break. Herbstreit told the audience, “If you would have saw what I just saw…Can I say what happened? He hadn’t been feeling well all morning… and vomit just flew. He got it into a trash can. I looked over my shoulder, ‘Where’s Pat?”‘
McAfee joked that a badly missed field goal was the source of his stomach upset.
I think I ate something spoiled..
As soon as I saw that kid kick that football I was so disgusted that I had to puke...

Vince Vaughn appeared to have a ball while referencing some of the popular films from his oeuvre during an appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay.
The actor and longtime sports fan was the Week 4 guest picker Saturday on the cable television program that previews the day’s NCAA college football matchups. During the episode, which filmed from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, Vaughn made it clear that he is a big supporter of the school’s Fighting Irish, who are set to play the Ohio State Buckeyes later Saturday in a high-profile game between two nationally ranked teams.
“This is like picking kids for me,” Vaughn explained. “My dad’s from [Ohio]. My sister, born in Columbus. My niece goes to Ohio State. And you can’t talk about football without talking about the great state of Ohio.”
He continued, “The Buckeyes are for real, always. You can never doubt them.

In these sports-starved times when we're all standing as attentive as meerkats awaiting Game Day — any Game Day— Netflix is offering two shows featuring international sports that will temporarily quench our competitive thirst. Home Game and Magnetic not only present a variety of sports to entertain us, but each also attempts to make universal observations about the nature of sports and the soul of the athlete, with mixed results.
Each of Home Game's eight half-hour episodes focuses on one sport that appears unusual to the average American but is hugely popular in its native country. The show could ...

Our Best Drama Supporting Actress Emmy odds currently have Julia Garner out front to win for “Ozark,” but her co-star Janet McTeer, who joined the gritty Netflix drama in its second season, is back in 14th place. While McTeer appears to be a longshot with 100/1 odds, here are four reasons why you shouldn’t underestimate her:
1. “Ozark’s” five Emmy nominations last year
Netflix released the first season of “Ozark” in July 2017, so nearly an entire year before the 2018 Emmys. Keeping that, and the stacked drama field, in mind, its five nominations were an impressive feat, especially if you consider where it ended up hitting: Jason Bateman not only crashed the Best Drama Actor lineup, but also managed to sneak into Best Drama Directing (“The Toll”) alongside co-director Daniel Sackheim (“Tonight We Improvise”). It also got nominations for Best Cinematography and Best Production Design.
These five nominations are indicative of...

With six of last year’s seven Best Drama Supporting Actress Emmy nominees ineligible, including defending champ Thandie Newton (“Westworld”), the race is wide open this year. Currently leading our combined odds is the only eligible returnee from last year, Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones”), who is followed by Julia Garner (“Ozark”), Maisie Williams (“Game of Thrones”), Rhea Seehorn (“Better Call Saul”), Sophie Turner (“Game of Thrones”) and Susan Kelechi Watson (“This Is Us”). Even though this may seem like a done deal with “Game of Thrones” currently airing its final season, here’s why I’m actually giving Garner the edge in this race for her turn on Netflix’s “Ozark.”
1. Industry support
Overall, “Ozark” has thoroughly been embraced by the industry, bagging 14 guild nominations for its second season, four of which were Screen Actors Guild Award nominationss. Garner surprised everyone when she was nominated alongside her co-star Laura Linney...

History knows the truth is still out there, orders the Aidan Gillen-starring Project Blue Book Season 2.
The public's endless fascination for aliens and UFOs wins again! History and A+E Studios announced the renewal of Project Blue Book for Season 2.
Project Blue Book is an in-house A+ Studios production for History, which likely made the announcement of Project Blue Book Season 2 much easier. Of course, it doesn't hurt that people seem to like the sci-fi (though emphasis on the "sci") drama series. History reports that Project Blue Book is the number one new cable show of the 2018-19 TV season, pulling in 3.4 million viewers in the Live+3 Nielsen metric. Eli Lehrer, Executive Vice President and Head of Programming and History, said in a prepared statement:
“We are believers in Project Blue Book and so is our audience who has sparked a conversation about...
