- Rafe and Leo make a reference to "expertly drawn boobs" in Rafe's sketchbook, then wonder how realistic the boobs were. Nothing explicit.
- Principal Dwight says that some of the tests have the question: "true or false: Principal Dwight has three nipples." He denies it, saying he was born without nipples and it looks amazing, but nothing is shown.
- Principal Dwight is covered in manure in one scene.
- A boy says his stepmom is really hot and Principal Dwight adds "I've seen his stepmom. He's not kidding."
- As Rafe tampers with the school's sprinkler system, Leo says "if you fall, I am not giving you mouth-to-mouth."

- A two-headed alien accidentally shoots its heads off, but they quickly regenerate. No blood.
- Colored spheres fall out of a closet and pin Vice Principal Stricker to the floor, and Principal Dwight remarks "Oh my God. That could have been me." In later scenes she is fine.

- In one doodle animation sequence, Rafe is chased by scary zombies that move in formation and then a monstrous school building that inhales people while pulling itself forward with its teeth, the ground in front of which is a scantron. There is some comic relief as a locker is at maximum nerd capacity and the zombies imitate a zoetrope, but still this may be intense for younger viewers

- At the end of the movie Rafe and Jeanne kiss.

- It is mentioned that Rafe's brother died of cancer. At the beginning of act III it is revealed that Leo is really this brother and Rafe is only imagining he's there, and at the end Leo departs saying he was only there until Rafe made "real" friends.
- Principal Dwight dissolves in acid a notebook that has sentimental value to Rafe. Doodle aliens and robots are shown perishing. One apologizes for using another's toothbrush as they accept their demise, and another yells "your new principal sucks!"
