Apparently, wherever Kanye West goes, drama follows, which leads to the question: isn’t it time to crown him the Drama King?
This is because of the incessant drama following the “Donda” rapper everywhere he goes. For example, the recent lawsuit he filed against his ex-worker YesJulz.
Before we delve into the lawsuit, let’s first of all look at the events that led to the lawsuit, shall we?
On Tuesday, March 12, the “Graduation” rapper released a public announcement that he and YesJulz, the 34-year-old media personality, born Julianne Marrie Goddard, are no longer working together.
It is worth knowing that YesJulz worked with Kanye during the rollout of “Vultures” Vol 1 which was released in February.
Kanye’s post which was shared via his Instagram story as of then read, “We have decided to no longer have YesJulz involved in the roll out of Vultures.

Towering civil rights leaders Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X, both assassinated at the age of 39, met briefly on March 26, 1964 at the U.S. Capitol, where they were both present in support of the passage of the Civil Rights Act. While their paths intersected only once before their untimely deaths, the Nat Geo series “Genius: MLK/X” presents their extraordinary lives in tandem, despite their famously opposing ideologies.

Who do you want to follow?” executive producer Gina Prince-Bythewood said during a post-screening conversation at the “MLK/X” premiere on Jan. 29. “But we knew that they were both integral to the movement. Rapper Kanye West’s lack of hygiene has been turning his wife Bianca Censori off amid their global vacation. “He wears these outfits partly because he genuinely believes they showcase his fashion genius and forward-thinking,” a source told Radar Online of Ye’s trademark mask and heavy layers despite the summer heat. “But it’s also to cover him having gained a little weight,” reports aceshowbiz.com.
The “Gold Digger” emcee’s fashion choice, however, came with a stinky consequence for his wife.
The insider went on to say: “It’s a serious stench when the layers come off and he’s dripping in sweat head to toe – especially as he’s not big on showering – and poor Bianca’s nostrils are on the receiving end.”
Another source echoed the sentiment, commenting on Ye who was recently photographed wearing a head wrap, a double layer of shirts, loose pants and tight Spandex wraps in Italy.

Chennai, June 13 (Ians) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressing his strong opposition to the National Exit Test (NExT).
The Union Health Ministry has announced that a National Exit Test would be held from 2024. NExT would be a single examination that would replace final year Mbbs examination and the National Eligibility Entrance Test – Post Graduation. This will hence act as a qualifying examination for granting registration to doctors.
Stalin in the letter said that NExT need not be introduced and the existing system of examination should be allowed to continue.
He emphasised that the introduction of NExT is neither in the interest of the students, nor the state governments which fund most of the medical institutions.
The Chief Minister said that this was another instance of diluting the role of the state governments and universities in the health sector and to centralise power with the Central government.

A new Cristian Mungiu film is always cause for celebration. “R.M.N.,” his first film since 2016’s “Graduation” won Best Director at Cannes, once again immerses us in the casual brutalities of Eastern Europe.

It’s just that once they find those instincts lining up with their pre-existing prejudices — say, when the boy alleges, or heavily implies, that the ones who beat him up were of Roma background — then those same people will erase all nuance, ignore all complexity, and do almost anything to drink further into the intoxication of righteous moral outrage. Even if it means shoring up a teenager’s lie.

If Maria von Trapp found Austrian convent life a little suffocating in “The Sound of Music,” she would have been fully asphyxiated — possibly by someone else’s hand — in the austere Catholic spirit-prison that houses “Serviam – I Will Serve,” where any green hills are from view, pain is a holy priority, and perceived problematic flibbertigibbets are solved by rather more ruthless means than a jaunty sing-song. Only the third fiction feature in 20 years from accomplished Austrian formalist Ruth Mader, this supremely well-made chiller announces itself upfront as a cut above your average nunsploitation exercise with its stark, stringent mise-en-scène and jabs of religious inquiry via surreal, Bible-based animated interludes.
Yet “Serviam’s” split impulses between conscientious Church critique and outright horror — complete with shrieking, doomy strings and twisted-sister jump scares — never coalesce into something that fully delivers on either score. What’s left is a very handsome mood piece...

The BTS and Snoop Dogg collaboration you've been waiting for is finally here, and it's all thanks to Benny Blanco! The artists dropped one of the biggest collaborations of the summer, "Bad Decisions," on Aug. 5. The uptempo, fun-filled, guitar-heavy track about making ill-advised choices with the person you love will be a perfect addition to every Army's summer playlist.
While the "Bad Decisions" music video, which was released alongside the single, doesn't physically feature BTS, they were there in spirit. Throughout the video, Blanco dresses up like "Dynamite"-era Jimin, makes glittery BTS posters, and even bakes a purple BTS cake in preparation for attending their concert. Of course, Blanco has his Army bomb in hand, proving that, even if he isn't a bonafide Army in real life, he's a big enough fan to have done some legit research on what preparing for a BTS concert (and fighting the traffic...

Coda and Apple TV+ made history when the film captured best picture at the Academy Awards, a first for a streaming service after years of Netflix and other competitors long campaigned for such an honor.
Other multiple nominees include Top Gun: Maverick with five nominations; Dune with four; and Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and The Batman among the movies with three mentions.
The Golden Trailer Awards, which honor creatives who produce trailers and marketing content for new movies, TV and streaming series, will be held live in Los Angeles on Oct. 6 and will be hosted by comedian Henry Cho.

During a graduation celebration, the lives of four Chinese are explored under the societal pressures to move towards prosperity and happy family life. The two boys being celebrated hide their relationship for fear of reprimand and possible shunning from their parents, yet the parents hold their own secrets which show their own human fallacies under oppressive ideals they themselves subscribe to.
“Graduation” review is part of the Submit Your Film Initiative
Tackling the pressures of family and cultural expectations, Robin Wang’s six-minute short film explores how these pressures can subvert desires under the semblance of pushing for the greater good of the family unit. Given the short runtime, “Graduation” gets to the point of its message quickly and audiences will easily pick up on the sexual tension between the two young men at the dinner table.

Cristian Mungiu likes to take his time.
In terms of his craft, the Romanian filmmaker behind the Palme d’Or-winning “4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days” opts for long, unbroken takes, building out tension as his camera stubbornly refuses to cut away. In terms of his career, he works at a measured clip, delivering a new project on average every five years.
And in terms of his latest effort, the dense and foreboding “R.M.N.,” which premiered in competition at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, that means putting his pieces on the board at an unhurried pace, weaving a tapestry that takes nearly half a runtime to reveal the full intricacy and artistry of its construction.

IFC Films has acquired the North American rights to “R.M.N.,” the latest film from Romanian auteur Cristian Mungiu ahead of its Cannes debut.

IFC Films has acquired North American rights to “R.M.N.,” the new film from acclaimed writer, director and producer Cristian Mungiu, ahead of its world premiere in Cannes this week.
It’s a grand reunion for the indie studio and the director, marking their fifth distribution collaboration. IFC Films will release “R.M.N.” theatrically in 2022. It may have been a wise preemptive buy. The director’s films tend to get an award-winning reception in the South of France. Mungiu previously won the Palme d’Or in 2007 for “4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days,” a drama about abortion that was set in waning days of the Nicolae Ceaușescu era in Romania.

Going through the list of previous Album of the Year Grammy winners, you’ll see some familiar faces. Taylor Swift and Adele pop up a couple times, you’ll see critically beloved records like Kacey Musgraves’s “Golden Hour” and Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs,” some veterans like Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, as well as some big blockbusters like Santana’s “Supernatural.” But among those somewhat predictable picks over the last couple of decades, one sticks out immediately: Herbie Hancock for “River: The Joni Letters.” Now, if you’re on the younger side you might have no idea who Hancock even is, but if you were watching the 2008 Grammys then you were probably shocked by Hancock’s seemingly out-of-nowhere victory. Let’s take a look back.

Remember Vitamin C’s “Graduation (Friends Forever)”? Well, the One of Us Is Lying trailer uses quite the haunting version of it, and we have a feeling the four high schoolers at the center of it probably won’t be “friends forever.” Peacock’s new mystery series premieres on Thursday, October 7 with the first three episodes. The next three will drop on October 14 and the last two on October 21. Based on Karen M. McManus’s best-selling novel, One of Us Is Lying tells the story of what happens when five high schoolers walk into detention and only four make it out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide. The series stars Annalisa Cochrane (Addy), Chibuikem Uche (Cooper), Marianly Tejada (Bronwyn), Cooper van Grootel (Nate), Barrett Carnahan (Jake), Mark McKenna (Simon), Melissa Collazo (Maeve), and Jessica McLeod (Janae). Simon is the student who doesn’t walk out...

The white-hot moment of the Romanian new-wave film renaissance is long in the past. “The Death of Mr. Lazarescu” came out in 2005, “4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days” in 2007. Other landmarks of Romanian cinema also now go back quite a ways, like “Police, Adjective” (2009), “If I Want to Whistle, I Whistle” (2010), and “Graduation” (2016). That’s not to say there haven’t been good Romanian films of late — earlier this year, I championed Two Lottery Tickets, a kind of droll Romanian Jim Jarmusch film. The bitter truth, though, is that over the last decade the profile of international impact and acclaim that Romanian cinema once held has radically diminished.
It might jump-start again with the appearance of “Miracle,” one of the best films I’ve seen at the Venice Film Festival. It’s the third feature written and directed by Bogdan George Apetri, and it shares many of the classic qualities of Romanian cinema.

Kanye West finally released his album “Donda” on Sunday, August 29, after weeks of anticipation and listening events. But the super-sized album (almost two hours long with 27 tracks) has already been met with mixed reactions from critics and music fans. How does it compare to the work he’s done before? Scroll down to vote in our poll at the bottom of this post.
“Donda” has inspired a wide range of reactions from music journalists, with some saying that “on a purely musical level,” it’s “unassailable.” It’s his “best album since 2013’s ‘Yeezus.‘” But others argue it’s “messy” and “deeply flawed,” that “nobody needs all 27 of these tracks,” and that his collaboration with accused rapist Marilyn Manson “leaves a sour taste … Zero stars.”
SEEKanye West ‘Donda’ reactions: Is it a ‘disappointment,’ and are collabs with Marilyn Manson and DaBaby total deal-breakers?
But earlier in his career West was a rap wunderkind.

It’s summer, everyone! And with its relatively sparse list of new releases for July 2021, Hulu seems to be subtlety imploring its subscribers to go outside.
Don’t get us wrong: Hulu’s library offerings get a big upgrade this month. July 1 sees the arrival of great films like Galaxy Quest, Fargo, and Caddyshack. Bill and Ted Face the Music premieres on July 2 and its followed by Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar on July 9. Not bad stuff! It’s just that, outside of the library titles, there isn’t much to go off of.
Hulu’s only major original release this month is the FX on Hulu production American Horror Stories on July 15. As its name implies, the show is a spinoff of American Horror Story and will feature self-contained horror episodes rather than a season-long arc. If you’ll allow this geriatric millennial to deploy one truly ancient meme: “Yo dawg,...

With a nod to Robert Donat’s Richard Hannay in Alfred Hitchcock’s The 39 Steps and an unintended wink to a bus trip in Torn Curtain with Paul Newman and Julie Andrews, Andy Goddard’s Six Minutes To Midnight (co-written with Eddie Izzard and Celyn Jones) conjures up moments from cinema history. There’s plenty of wit to be found in the films that constitute the Romanian New Wave, but any laughs they elicit wind up sounding more like dry coughs. These movies tend to find their humor in subjects like an overburdened health-care system (“The Death of Mr. Lazarescu”), corruption in the education system (“Graduation”), family strife (“Sieranevada”) and other topics relevant to the nation dealing with the lingering aftereffects of the Ceausescu era.
So even if writer-director Corneliu Porumboiu seems more amenable to absurdist comedy — and genre conventions — than his peers in this talented community, his latest film “The Whistlers” still traffics in bleak chuckles.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has a message for the Grammys bureaucrats: “They work for us.”

His sentiments may be a prelude to other diatribes during tonight’s televised event, which are being held in the shadow of a legal battle with former CEO Deborah Dugan and the Recording Academy’s Board of Directors. Accusations of voting irregularities, sexism and cronyism have been floated in the dispute.
Diddy was given an icon award at the Davis party, and spoke of his pain at past treatment by the Recording Academy.
“I have to be honest. The last few days I’ve been conflicted. I’m being honored by this industry I love, this family that I love, but there’s an elephant in the room and it’s not just about the Grammys,...
