My first episode review!

Warning: Spoilers
I am so glad to be reviewing single episodes of my favorite show. This one's one of the best episodes. It starts out with a wonderful opening. We see Ward's origins as he shows us how he was once an African bushman kidnapped by the Kree to become an Inhuman. This episode features Daisy first showing violence towards her former allies. And Ward still thinks she's still loyal to them!

Even better, we get another character from Marvel Comics! Well, maybe not a specific character, but at least an actual race. Yep, we finally get to see the Kree (or one of them) show up and have a great fight with Ward. While the action scenes are great, the fact that we learn so much about these characters and their true motivations is what makes this a classic!

Warning: Spoilers
This episode has some great aspects, and one not so great aspect, I'll start with the negative, the kree felt underwhelming, though I understand they were implying Hive was scared of them because of his past experience but they are in fact not that strong, that said, I can't see why they weren't made into a bigger threat, maybe have Daisy team up with Alicia to be able to beat one of them instead of single handedly? I did enjoy the team's failed attempt at taking Hive out, they showed us how helpless the situation is without making them incompetent, I like the addition of piper, even though it was strange how she just showed up, but now that I know who she is it's fun to see her introduction. I also really like the Lincoln part, it starts as a cliche thing and ends on a really depressing note, I feel for him. Lincoln was not exactly a fan favorite, I do like him but nowhere near the rest of the team, so it was brilliant how the writer knowingly played into the fandom's expectations for his character, certainly in the next episode, but a little in this one too. it was neat.
