- Lucy is a goth girl who often conducts séances and talks to the dead. Lucy also can frequently be seen using tarot cards and a Ouija board. This is done comically.
- During the climax of, "Doll Day Afternoon," when Luan and her family figures out the "Puppet-napper" was actually Mr. Coconuts' original owner, Luan decides to give Mr. Coconuts back in a very despairing way. (One of the hardest scenes to watch in the show.)
- Some episodes may be scary for kids under 5 because Lincoln hears weird sounds in the basement and it is dark which may frighten very young viewers who are afraid of scary sounds and the dark.

- A deleted scene from "Lynn-er Takes All" includes Lynn's gums bleeding after brushing her teeth too fast. They thought that was too intense, so they replaced it with her tooth falling out instead.
