After the events of the previous episode Quinn is helped by the Muslim man who found him; it turns out he is a doctor but can't practice in Germany... he is also involved with some shady individuals who are not happy with him bringing Quinn to the place they live; one in particular is convinced that he must be a spy and wants him killed. Meanwhile Carrie's meeting with Saul doesn't go as well as she'd hoped as he refuses to give her a copy of the stolen data. He does however take on board her suggestion that the Russians may be involved and orders the embassy swept for bugs. Unfortunately he doesn't suspect that the head of station is a traitor so when he shares his ideas she directs more suspicion at him.
This is another solid episode even if Quinn's storyline requires some suspension of disbelief what are the odds that the person who helped him would be associated with a terrorist group?! It did however lead up to an exciting confrontation between Quinn and the terrorist who wanted him killed. While there is less danger in the embassy scenes there is still a sense that Saul's activities could lead to him being formally accused of being the traitor. Since we know that station chief Allison Carr is the real traitor she is shaping up to be a good villain; each move she makes against Saul making her more despicable. Carrie's story advances less than usual in this episode but it does raise questions about what will happen next as she boards a plane for an unknown destination. As expected the acting and direction is of a high quality. Overall a decent episode with some exciting moments.
