- Charlie and Adileh have been in a relationship for over a year. Although Charlie's American customs clash with Adileh's international customs they continue to grow in their affection towards each other. It is time for the next step in their relationship, but one thing stands in the way. This is full commitment from Charlie by partaking in a traditional custom of Adileh's heritage. This is having a piece of his (Charlies) penis cut (traditionally called a Sunnet meant younger boys entering adulthood) by the Father of the soon to be bride. Will Charlie commit, or better yet if Charlie does commit will he be the same man as before? Sorry Charlie!—Lawrence Sharp
- The film opens with footage of Brooklyn, NY patrons and activities. The main character Charlie (Buddy Love) narrates while Adileh (Bianca Vitale) enters their apartment. She is anxious as her parents are coming to visit for the first time. She calls to Charlie his nickname shikamoo; which she has given him because of his physical appearance. This sends Charlie into a daydream of their past up to the moment in question. In the daydream we see Charlie's conscience out of control with visions of the Angel (Judith Raphael), the Devil (Jennifer Brito), and Adileh's parents (Danny Chaprman and Jewel Donahue), and voices in his head. All of this because the reason for Adileh's family visiting is to conduct a cultural tradition that Adileh told Charlie must occur if he is to have her hand in marriage, and this is a sunnett which is literally having a piece of Charlies penis cut by the father of the soon to be bride. Charlie is shocked, Adileh is amused, Adileh's parents when they arrived are confused why he would think they would do this to him. Charlie finds out it was all a trick....until Charlie wakes up and see's the father with a scalpel and gloves. The devil appears next to Charlie and says "I told you to run". Camera to black. cutting sound efx. Charlie screams.
