Wrestlers watch “Twin Peaks,” it turns out. In a bizarre parody of David Lynch’s cult sensation, WWE SmackDown star Tyler Breeze investigates the disappearance on his partner, Fandango, after he was abducted by attackers at WWE Battleground. Titled “Fashion Peaks,” the video sees Breeze channeling his inner Agent Cooper, looking at a wall of photographs, which feature references like “Bella Twin Peaks,” “Blue Velvet McIntyre” and “Fire Walk With Me.” Breeze then gets thrown in a dream sequence inspired by the Black Lodge, and sees Fandango doing a Man From Another Place impersonation. In the sequence, Breeze has more questions than answers.

Cm Punk (above right) has a ton of fans from his WWE reign, and many of them were growing restless waiting for the wrestler’s Ufc debut. Now, we finally have an official start date, event and opponent for the crossover combat athlete. Punk will compete at Cleveland’s Ufc 203 on Sep. 10, 2016, the company said on Thursday. He’ll battle Mickey Gall (2-0) in a welterweight bout. Roman Reigns was suspended Tuesday for violating the WWE’s wellness policy — and while the 30-day math allows for it, the superstar may still not participate in the next big Pay-Per-View. Real name Joe Anoa`i, the wrestler will take his medicine for one month as this incident was just a first offense, but that still places the current “WWE Battleground” main event in a bit of jeopardy — or at least, some controversy. Reigns is technically suspended from June 20 to July 20, meaning he is eligible to return to action on July 21. “Battleground” is set for Sunday, July 24, when Reigns was meant to scrap with.

WWE Battleground 2015 promised big matches and the beginnings of a revolution. Whether it delivered that is to be seen, but with the card WWE had put together there was definitely promise of something special.
With the lower card featuring Shaemus vs Randy Orton, Primetime Players vs. New Day and Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt, Battleground 2015 did start off strong. This was especially the case with the tag team match, with New Day definitely finally delivering with not only the talent in the ring but also comedy from Xavier Woods.
Where my problem comes is with the Divas match, which I’m sure you’ll know I normally try to take no notice of. The shame is this is where the big “revolution” is meant to begin, but where instead starts to stutter before it even began. While we get a positive result and there are moments of hope, what can...

To celebrate the release of this year’s WWE Battleground event on DVD and Blu-ray, we’ve teamed up with WWE to offer you the chance to win one of five DVD copies.
The event was – at the time – arguably the biggest behind WrestleMania so far in 2015 as The Undertaker returned to scupper Brock Lesnar’s shot at Seth Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Beast had The Architect beat after an F-5, before The Phenom got involved one of the most shocking returns in recent WWE history. It’s a moment that has shaped WWE’s future right up until next year’s Mania. That’s how big it was.
As well as that monumental main event clash, there are a plethora of fantastic bouts to see that include the meetings between Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and Money in the Bank winner Sheamus, plus...

WWE Battleground’s primary goal was to establish a Brock Lesnar versus The Undertaker match for SummerSlam. It is a match that Vince McMahon has had in mind ever since The Beast conquered the streak back at WrestleMania 30. There’s a natural narrative stemming from that, in which The Undertaker will seek to avenge the loss.
However, the timing and circumstances of booking this second match is causing a great degree of controversy in the internet wrestling community. Lesnar has been so over as a hot babyface, but he’s in danger of flat lining against the revered legend of The Undertaker. Fans witnessed that at Battleground, as the crowd instantly stopped caring about Lesnar and immediately broke out in celebratory Taker chants.
The other issue is that the last match between the pair really wasn’t that good. They are twelve years past the prime of their best matches together,...

The WWE tag team champions The Prime Time Players (Darren Young and Titus O’Neil) along with Mark Henry were pulled over by police officers in St. Louis following Sunday night’s WWE Battleground event.
They posted a video on Instagram with Henry and O’Neil teasing Young about it.
Thank Goodness for Clean Records… @fredarren almost Got me and @themarkhenry Locked up!! #DamnShame #UsFree
A video posted by Titus Oneil (@titusoneilwwe) on Jul 19, 2015 at 8:47pm Pdt
They made comments that Young got away with a warning, so maybe he was speeding or did some minor thing that caused the cops to pull them over. Most likely Titus wouldn’t have posted it if they got in some serious trouble.
Young is also wearing a neckbrace in the video, which is a concerning sight for an active wrestler. It could just be a comfort thing because the drive from St.

WWE Battleground 2015 has come and gone, but for what seemed on the surface as little more than a filler Pay-Per-View on the calendar, there was an awful lot to like from the promotion’s latest supershow offering. It’s fascinating to sit back and realise that there are a multitude of things to take away from each WWE event, because the company is constantly evolving – perhaps a lot of this has to do with the sheer amount of content the juggernaut produces, but it gives fans a heck of a lot to talk about, which can never be considered a bad thing!
At Battleground, the seeds were planted for SummerSlam, and there was one major hint over a killer match that WWE enthusiasts could be seeing at one of the more traditional PPV events in late-August. It was likely a surprise for many to see Seth Rollins walk...

The Undertaker returned at WWE Battleground and attacked Brock Lesnar. The Beast was about to pin Seth Rollins for the championship, when the lights went out and The Undertaker’s bell sounded.
The lights then came on and Taker was in the ring. Lesnar was stunned. He went to attack the veteran, only to be countered and low blowed. The crowd then cheered The Undertaker wildly, as he delivered a chokeslam and tombstone pilerdriver.
It was odd booking. Lesnar has been so hot as a babyface this year, so they book him against the one guy who he’s not going to be cheered against?
As for Taker, that low blow was a heel move. If the plan was to bring him back as a bad guy, that’s also illogical, as the crowd are never going to boo him. The Battleground crowd reacted with absolute adoration for him.

The Undertaker is returning to WWE for SummerSlam and there are strong indications that he’ll be at Sunday’s WWE Battleground event too. The big questions are why is he coming back and what’s he going to do?
With WWE business being a bit stagnant, it’s no surprise that they are calling on the 25 year WWE veteran to come back for a major storyline to help save the summer.
The Undertaker hasn’t appeared on WWE TV at all this year, so next Monday’s Raw, where he’s expected to appear, should create a memorable moment just to see what he might do. Could he be targeting Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins or Sting? Nobody really knows at this point and that’s what makes it fun.
It was also reported this week that Sting is coming back for SummerSlam as well, which means that...
